Joe Biden’s presidency imploded before the nation’s eyes as Joe Biden botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
It is a national humiliation the likes of which no one has seen since the fall of Saigon in 1975.
And this confession about Joe Biden left Americans facing an awful truth.
Joe Biden spent the days where the Taliban took over Afghanistan in under a week hiding at Camp David.
Biden returned to the White House to deliver a 10-minute speech where Biden lied about planning for every contingency and then blamed Donald Trump for the Afghanistan debacle before shuffling out of the White House without taking questions from reporters before his handlers flew Biden back to his vacation bunker at Camp David.
Biden’s whereabouts and activities during the fall of Kabul became a state secret as Biden’s handlers only released a photo of Biden on a video conference.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan pulled back the curtain after intense media criticism and told the horrible truth that Joe Biden did not speak to any world leaders as the crisis in Afghanistan spiraled out of control.
“He has not yet spoken with any other world leaders,” Sullivan told the reporters.
Sullivan pushed the narrative – without providing any evidence – that Joe Biden worked through the weekend on the Afghanistan debacle.
“The president worked throughout the entire weekend,” Sullivan added.
“President Biden has been deeply engaged with this,” Sullivan continued.
Many Americans wondered if Joe Biden actually worked through the weekend on the Afghanistan withdrawal and this was the end result of what Biden ignoring the crisis would look like.
After Biden fled to Camp David, reporters demanded to know if Biden would actually return to work and speak to the American people about his humiliating defeat in Afghanistan.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki had no idea when Biden would come back to Washington.
“The president will return to the White House. I don’t have an exact time for you,” Psaki stated.
Psaki couldn’t even give a proper update as to Biden’s schedule.
“In terms of additional portions of the schedule next week, we’re still working those through so I don’t have an update at this moment in time,” Psaki added.
Joe Biden’s cognitive decline continues to grow as a concern in the minds of many Americans.
Biden’s handlers don’t trust him to speak on the phone with world leaders, take questions from the press, or to appear in public for more than a handful of minutes as America suffers the most embarrassing U.S. defeat in generations and it is leading many to think Biden can’t be trusted to perform in these situations because of his declining mental capabilities.
Right now, America is facing illegal immigration, crime, and inflation crises.
The debacle in Afghanistan only adds to the problems on the president’s plate.
And it’s an open question as to if Joe Biden’s in hiding because his mental faculties are not up to speed and his handlers want to hide that from the public.
