Donald Trump’s feud with Fox News is about to kick into high gear.
That’s bad news for Fox.
And now this Fox News star revealed a truth about the network that will make Trump’s blood boil.
Former Fox News host Eric Bolling ripped Fox News for two-faced coverage of the federal vaccine mandates that Donald Trump and the vast majority of Trump supporters oppose.
On his Newsmax program Bolling ripped Fox News hosts that attack federal vaccine mandates but force employees to choose between vaccine mandates or oppressive daily testing regimes.
Bolling noted that the prime time shows featured far different coverage than that offered by daytime hosts such as Never Trump acolyte Neil Cavuto.
“Fox hosts rage against vaccine mandates,” Bolling stated. “Yet they work for a company that demands their employees get vaccinated or get tested. Their broadcast is all about that. While their evening shows are anti-mandates, you turn on the daytime shows and see Neil Cavuto saying the exact opposite.”
Last week Cavuto offered up a plea – that the liberals at CNN loved – begging Fox News viewers to fall in line and obey Joe Biden’s mandate to get the vaccine even though Cavuto – who is immunocompromised – admitted the vaccine protected him.
Bolling then played the clip on his show.
“If you think it’s a pain in the ass,” Cavuto told viewers. “I get that, but think of others around you. I daresay, people who experience this and seen loved ones who’ve been affected by this or having died from this are not judging the wisdom of mandates. They’re wishing they got vaccinated and they didn’t. Don’t let that happen.”
If Cavuto is vaccinated and the vaccine protects him it shouldn’t matter if other people are vaccinated.
But Cavuto did not address that gap in his logic.
Bolling ripped Fox News for putting Never Trumpers and Fauci supporters like Cavuto on during the daytime when Fox’s main audience is at work claiming that the moderates and RINOs like Cavuto actually speak for the executives at Fox News.
“Not so sure about that, Neil,” Bolling declared. “Think about what Fox is doing, though. It’s brilliant. Everything they truly believe is aired in the middle of the day when everyone’s at work. Then people get home from work and watch evening commentary hosts say the complete opposite of what they reported just hours prior.”
Donald Trump lodged a similar complaint in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Trump blasted the daytime and weekend anchors for rejecting Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election whereas the primetime hosts supported his attempt to challenge the result of the contest.
But Eric Bolling is the first former or current Fox News star to substantiate Trump’s suspicions that Fox News purposefully stacks the deck during the daytime with Never Trumpers and liberals.
