Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez seized on the politically motivated leak by the sham January 6 Select Committee of 29 text messages between Ginni Thomas – wife of conservative icon and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and prominent conservative activist – and President Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows during November 2020.
Ginni Thomas expressed her view that Democrats stole the election and suggested ways the Trump administration could fight back.
“Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!” Thomas texted Meadows. “You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.
“This is a fight of good versus evil. Evil always looks like the victor until the King of Kings triumphs. Do not grow weary in well doing. The fight continues. I have staked my career on it. Well at least my time in DC on it,” Thomas also wrote to Meadows.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed that since Justice Thomas’ wife holds her own political views opposed to the narrative of the Democrat Party and January 6 committee it was unethical for Justice Thomas to rule on cases involving the 2020 election.
Therefore, Ocasio-Cortez posted on social media that Congress must impeach Justice Thomas if Justice Thomas did not resign.
“Clarence Thomas should resign,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “If not, his failure to disclose income from right-wing organizations, recuse himself from matters involving his wife, and his vote to block the Jan 6th commission from key information must be investigated and could serve as grounds for impeachment.”
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley slammed the hypocrisy of woke feminists and liberals like Ocasio-Cortez.
Senator Hawley told Hannity it was sexist for Democrats to demand Justice Thomas forbid his wife from having her own political opinions or engaging in political activism.
Senator Hawley also wondered why all these Democrats demanding Congress impeach Justice Thomas because of the actions of his wife did not hold Joe Biden to the same standard and demand Biden resign because of Hunter Biden’s shady conduct and alleged criminal activity.
“I look forward to all the calls for Joe Biden’s resignation from all of these Democrats on exactly the same logic that you just outlined, Sean. So, if Hunter Biden ends up getting indicted, as looks increasingly likely, then I guess the president needs to resign for that…
“…The idea that Ginni Thomas, his wife, is supposed to sign off on her texts and on her work with her husband, as if he’s in charge of her in some way, isn’t that misogyny? Isn’t that exactly what the Democrats are saying they are against?” Senator Hawley declared.
