House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s impeachment witch hunt is not going well.
Schiff and the Democrats quickly realized the American people saw through their impeachment hoax.
To make matters worse, Adam Schiff got caught in one illegal cover-up that ruined him.
Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman appeared before Schiff’s Stalinist show trial as one of the Democrats’ star witnesses.
Vindman was one of the power-mad Deep State leakers that schemed to exact revenge on Donald Trump by fabricating a scandal surrounding Donald Trump’s July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian President.
Democrats called Vindman because they thought his past military service insulated him from any criticism as well as the fact that he actually listened to the July 25 phone call and could provide a firsthand account.
Vindman – who operates under the belief that the President works for the “interagency process” – broke the chain of command in an underhanded scheme to undermine the President.
During his testimony, Vindman admitted that he never reported his concerns to his boss – National Security Council official Tim Morrison – and instead turned to the National Security Council’s chief lawyer and his brother – who also works as a lawyer for the National Security Council.
Vindman also gossiped to two officials outside the National Security Council – State Department official George Kent and an official he would only describe as a member of the intelligence community.
Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes tried to draw out an answer as to who Vindman blabbed to.
“As you know the intelligence community has 17 different agencies, what agency was this individual from?” Nunes pressed Vindman.
That’s when Adam Schiff sprang into action to orchestrate a cover-up.
“If I could interject here, we don’t want to use these proceedings…we need to protect the whistleblower,” Schiff frantically interjected.
“I want to make sure there’s no effort to out the whistleblower through the use of these proceedings,” Schiff continued.
Nunes noted that Vindman was there to answer questions and he could either respond or plead the Fifth Amendment.
Vindman quickly hid behind Schiff’s cover-up attempt to avoid admitting that he spoke to the CIA official who became the so-called “whistleblower.”
“Per the advice of my counsel I have been advised not to answer specific questions about members of the intelligence community.”
“Ranking Member, per the advice of my counsel and the instructions from the chairman, I’ve been advised not to provide any specifics on who I’ve spoken to with inside the intelligence community. What I can offer is that…t was a properly cleared individual with a need to know.”
Schiff blocked Vindman from allegedly admitting that he spoke to 33-year-old registered Democrat, Obama National Security Council official and current CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella.
Schiff helped conceal the whistleblower’s identity by falsely claiming the law forbids anyone from stating Ciaramella’s name.
“Counsel is correct, the whistleblower has the statutory right to anonymity,” Schiff falsely claimed.
That is a lie.
The law only prevents the Intelligence Community Inspector General from releasing a whistleblower’s name.
Schiff wants to cover up Ciaramella’s identity because Ciaramella’s anti-Trump politics would make it clear Ciaramella and Vindman colluded to create a false narrative surrounding the President’s phone call to try and overthrow his administration.
