Adam Schiff and the Democrats held their Stalinist show trial public impeachment hearings.
They quickly turned into a disaster for Schiff and his fellow Democrats.
And that’s because Adam Schiff just got caught in this huge lie that turned impeachment into a giant defeat.
Democrats opened up their impeachment witch hunt with what they hoped would be blockbuster testimony.
Ukraine Ambassador Bill Taylor and Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent kicked off the partisan sham.
These hearings were an extension of the failed Russian collusion hoax as part of a coup to overthrow the duly elected President of the United States.
Republicans immediately called out the Democrats for inviting fraud witnesses that had no firsthand knowledge of any of the events in question and never even spoke to President Trump once.
Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan wanted to know when the committee would call the only witness that mattered – alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.
Media reports named Ciaramella – a registered Democrat and CIA Deep State spy sent to the White House that critics contend engaged in a campaign of sabotage and leaking – to testify.
Jordan asked Schiff when Ciaramella would testify.
“Do you anticipate when we might vote on the ability to have the whistleblower in front of us?” Jordan pressed Schiff.
Jordan pointed out that of all the members of Congress, Schiff was the only one that knew the identity of the so-called “whistleblower” because Schiff’s staff allegedly colluded with Ciaramella before Ciaramella filed his phony complaint.
“Of the 435 members of Congress, you are the only member who knows who that individual is, and your staff is the only staff of any member of Congress who’s had a chance to talk with that individual,” continued Jordan. “We would like that opportunity. When might that happen in this proceeding today?”
Schiff responded to Jordan by claiming not to know the identity of the so-called “whistleblower.”
“First, as the gentleman knows, that’s a false statement,” Schiff responded. “I do not know the identity of the whistleblower, and I’m determined to make sure that identity is protected.”
Then Schiff claimed Republicans would have the right to ask to subpoena Ciaramella after the hearing concluded.
“You’ll have an opportunity after the witnesses testify to make a motion to subpoena any witness and compel a vote.”
That was a phony offer.
Schiff knew the Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee would assert their majority in any vote and table a subpoena to the so-called “whistleblower.”
More importantly, Schiff bumbled his way into telling a major lie.
At the start of the hearing, Schiff declared that any Republicans that named the so-called “whistleblower” would be subject to an ethics investigation.
However, if Schiff didn’t know the identity of the so-called “whistleblower,” how would Schiff know to refer any member of Congress to the Ethics Committee for an investigation?
The only way Schiff could do that was if he was blatantly lying about not knowing the identity of the so-called “whistleblower.”
And given that Schiff already got caught lying about colluding with the alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella before he filed his complaint, that is a definite possibility.
