Joe Biden just found out he was in a lot more trouble than he realized.
The warnings are coming from Democrats.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hit Joe Biden with a shocking warning about losing his job.
In an interview with New York Magazine, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned Democrats that Joe Biden faced massive political defeat for failing to impose the socialist agenda.
Ocasio-Cortez singled out West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin for opposing a nearly $5 trillion socialist spending bill out of concerns over inflation as a key defeat.
“As a younger member of Congress, the first vote I ever cast was for Barack Obama, who was called a socialist and all of this stuff. All of this rhetoric that we see today has been the political reality my entire life. And so I never felt a nostalgia for something that never existed in my lifetime,” Ocasio-Cortez told New York Magazine. “I feel like our politics has fundamentally changed — whether it’s for better or for worse is for people’s determination — but I was never under the illusion that we can bring Manchin along.”
Ocasio-Cortez then claimed Biden’s poll numbers fell to a record low due to the fact that Biden failed to fulfill several key campaign promises to the socialist base of the Democrat Party.
“We need to acknowledge that this isn’t just about middle of the road, an increasingly narrow band of independent voters. This is really about the collapse of support among young people, among the Democratic base, who are feeling that they worked overtime to get this president elected and aren’t necessarily being seen,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
Ocasio-Cortez then claimed Biden’s only path to political salvation lies in pursuing a hard-left agenda through executive action.
“If the president does pursue and start to govern decisively using executive action and other tools at his disposal, I think we’re in the game,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “But if we decide to just kind of sit back for the rest of the year and not change people’s lives — yeah, I do think we’re in trouble. So I don’t think that it’s set in stone. I think that we can determine our destiny here.”
Critics pointed out Ocasio-Cortez is living in a fantasy land.
Biden’s approval rating sunk to 34 percent because voters see the Biden administration as out of touch.
Voters continue to list inflation as the number one issue and Biden’s entire domestic agenda consisted of pumping trillions of new dollars into the system and choking off the supply of domestic oil and natural gas in order to destroy the fossil fuel industry.
Following Ocasio-Cortez’s advice and continuing to tack to the socialist left would send Biden’s approval numbers into a further downward spiral.
