The bad news continues to pour in for Joe Biden.
This time Biden got a threat from his own party that could end his presidency.
And now Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hit Joe Biden with an ultimatum that will leave you speechless.
New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unloaded on Joe Biden on his failure to impose greater portions of the socialist agenda.
In an interview with New York-1 reporter Errol Louis, Ocasio-Cortez referenced Biden’s falling poll numbers and acknowledged the reality that Democrats were likely to lose the 2022 and 2024 elections.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed Biden’s sagging poll numbers – 34 percent in a recent Seltzer/Grinnell College poll – were due to a collapse of support for the socialist youth who campaigned for Biden and now felt disillusioned.
“But, this is really about the collapse of support among young people, among Democratic base, feeling like they worked overtime to get this president elected and they aren’t necessarily being seen,” Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez told Louis.
Ocasio-Cortez pointed to Biden’s failure to issue an executive order granting student loan borrowers a $10,000 bailout as an example of where Biden failed to deliver for his coalition.
“It is Biden’s power and ability to cancel student debt, and nobody else’s,” Ocasio-Cortez explained.
Democrats can’t win working-class voters because of woke cultural issues and support for defunding the police and open borders.
The left is increasingly reliant on voters with degrees.
In 2020 Joe Biden won 56 percent of college-educated voters and 69 percent of voters with advanced degrees.
Louis asked Ocasio-Cortez if Biden needed to tack even farther left to arrest his falling poll numbers and save his re-election bid.
“With his falling approval numbers, one would think they might be open to trying something, other than cruising down the path to a tough reelection. Do you get the sense whether or not they’re open to that?” Louis asked.
Ocasio-Cortez admitted that “time for the administration is running out.”
Ocasio-Cortez continued saying that Democrats could not wait much longer as Biden’s sinking poll numbers mean Biden needed to act now.
“And we do not have much more time to wait because these falling poll numbers, I don’t believe in governing by polling,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
What Ocasio-Cortez did not say is that what she meant by not having time to wait is that Biden’s continually falling poll numbers would cost Democrats control of Congress in 2022 and rendered Biden unelectable in 2024.
Even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez understands the reality of the situation facing Democrats.
And that is Joe Biden is mortally wounded politically and that Republicans are likely to control Congress and the White House after the 2022 and 2024 elections.
