New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez knows how to create a stir.
Ocasio-Cortez proved that in her latest TV interview.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s on-air admission about a sex crime had all hell breaking loose.
In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Ocasio-Cortez continued to advance the Democrats’ narrative of hyping up the events of January 6 as a racist insurrection designed to bring down the United States government.
The rioters did not have any firearms and those that entered the Capitol had no ability to overthrow the government.
But Ocasio-Cortez said the terrible episode was a byproduct of Trump supporters’ racist and sexist beliefs.
“I think one of the reasons why that impact was so doubled that day is because of the misogyny and the racism that is so deeply rooted and animated that attack on Capitol,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
The New York congresswoman never explained how racism and sexism drove the riot, but they are identity politics buzzwords so Ocasio-Cortez knew no member of the corporate media would actually ask her to explain herself.
Ocasio-Cortez even outrageously claimed that Trump supporters walked into the Capitol that day with the intention of raping her.
“You know white supremacy and patriarchy are very linked in a lot of ways. There is a lot of sexualizing of that violence. I didn’t think that I was just going to be killed. I thought other things were going to happen to me as well,” Ocasio-Cortez told Bash.
Bash knew exactly what Ocasio-Cortez hinted at with her answer and wanted her to spell it out for the viewers at home.
“So it sounds like what you’re telling me is that you didn’t only think that you were going to die, you thought you were going to be raped?” Bash asked Ocasio-Cortez.
“Yeah, yeah, I thought I was,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.
Ocasio-Cortez was in her office in the Rayburn House Office Building when Trump supporters entered the Capitol.
A road separates the two buildings and Trump supporters never breached the Rayburn building.
Ocasio-Cortez’s claims that Trump supporters were ready to rape and kill her are not supported by the facts on the ground that day.
But Democrats want to play up the events of that day – where an unarmed female Trump supporter named Ashli Babbitt ended up being the only person who died directly as a result of the riot – into a comparable tragedy to 9/11.
That’s because Democrats believe playing the January 6 card is their only chance to hang on to a majority in 2022.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez clearly felt terrified on January 6.
Ocasio-Cortez continually hyping the danger she felt she was in that day serves Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ political purposes.
