Now the truth is coming out.
And all hell broke loose when CNN revealed Joe Biden covered up this major 2020 scandal.
Americans were stunned when CNN reported that upon taking office, Joe Biden shut down an investigation the Trump administration began in 2020 to determine the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
CNN reported:
President Joe Biden‘s team shut down a closely-held State Department effort launched late in the Trump administration to prove the coronavirus originated in a Chinese lab over concerns about the quality of its work, according to three sources familiar with the decision.
The existence of the State Department inquiry and its termination this spring by the Biden administration — neither of which has been previously reported — comes to light amid renewed interest in whether the virus could have leaked out of a Wuhan lab with links to the Chinese military. The Biden administration is also facing scrutiny of its own efforts to determine if the Chinese government was responsible for the virus.
Donald Trump believed the evidence pointed to the outbreak beginning when COVID-19 escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology due to a lab accident.
Many in the corporate media dismissed the idea that the virus sprang from a level four bioresearch facility located in the city that the first cases of coronavirus appeared in as a “conspiracy theory” because they were afraid the truth would boost Donald Trump’s re-election prospects.
Deep State saboteurs in the public health bureaucracy agreed and tried to hamper the investigation to prevent the probe’s end product from proving Donald Trump right.
CNN also reported:
Those involved in the previously undisclosed inquiry, which was launched last fall by allies of then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, say it was an honest effort to probe what many initially dismissed: that China’s biological weapons program could have had a greater role in the pandemic’s origin in Wuhan, according to two additional sources.
But the inquiry quickly became mired in internal discord amid concerns that it was part of a broader politicized effort by the Trump administration to blame China and cherry-pick facts to prove a theory.
Americans could not believe Joe Biden would shut down an investigation into the coronavirus.
Many wondered if Biden—who voted to grant Communist China most-favored-nation status and to admit them into the World Trade Organization—let the Communist government slide because Biden has historically been soft on China.
Hours after this story broke, Biden scrambled into damage control mode announcing he tasked the intelligence community to provide a report on the origins of the coronavirus in 90 days.
“I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days,” a statement from Biden read. “As part of that report, I have asked for areas of further inquiry that may be required, including specific questions for China.”
If Donald Trump runs for president in 2024, Trump could use the issue of the origin of the coronavirus as a point of compare and contrast with Biden.
Biden would hope to run for re-election pitching Americans on the fact that his administration distributed the vaccines developed under the Trump administration and ended the pandemic.
But Trump would argue that he was right about the coronavirus escaping from China, and that Joe Biden ran interference for the Communists.
