After hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens poured into the country in the early months of the Biden administration, Joe Biden named Kamala Harris as his border czar.
That only led to more failures to secure the border as Harris largely ignored the deteriorating situation.
The crisis reached critical mass in the corporate media when Fox News began broadcasting video of 15,000 Haitian illegal aliens camped out under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
Thousands more Haitian illegal aliens piled up on the Mexican side of the border waiting to make a break for it into America.
Joe Biden and his underlings refused to use the word “crisis” to describe the situation at the southern border.
But Biden waded into new territory by admitting his administration – and by extension Kamala Harris in her role as border czar – failed to gain control of the situation.
A masked Joe Biden met with other fully masked world leaders at the U.N. General Assembly in New York and as the meeting concluded Biden took a rare question from reporters.
“Mr. President, what’s your reaction to the images coming from the southern border?” a reporter asked Biden.
For the first time Biden admitted the situation at the border was a serious problem.
“We’ll get it under control,” Biden shot back.
The reporter immediately knew Biden offered a serious admission about his administration’s failures and pressed Biden to clarify just to make sure Biden could not later wiggle out of acknowledging the reality of a crisis at the border.
“You will get it under control, or you have it under control?” the reporter followed up.
“We will get it under control,” the president confirmed.
The border is out of control for one reason – the Biden administration invited a mass influx of illegal aliens with open borders rhetoric and policies.
All anyone in the press had to do to confirm that truth was just ask the illegal aliens stampeding into Texas.
Forty-three-year-old Sonia Piard, her husband and three children arrived in Texas from Chile.
The reason Piard trekked to Texas was simple.
Piard told The Washington Post she heard that “President Biden was letting people in.”
Joe Biden named Kamala Harris as border czar precisely so she could take the heat for any political failures at the border.
That’s what vice presidents exist for.
And now Joe Biden’s rare public comments show he is more than willing to throw Kamala Harris under the bus for her failures.
