And now Amy Coney Barrett left Barack Obama speechless with one Supreme Court ruling.
After a president leaves office, construction begins on a presidential library that memorializes their time in office.
Barack Obama selected Jackson Park on the South Side of Chicago for the site of his presidential library.
But a left-wing community activist group called Protect Our Parks led a lawsuit against the project claiming the Obama Foundation illegally broke the library construction up into smaller projects to avoid environmental impact statements.
Supreme Court justices oversee circuit courts of appeals based on their geographic location.
Amy Coney Barrett came from Indiana and the Seventh Circuit, so this review fell to her.
And Barrett tossed the group’s complaint without referring it to the entire court to decide if they wanted to take up the case.
The lawyer for the left-wing activist group expressed disappointment in the ruling.
“Today’s Supreme Court decision is disappointing, but not surprising. We still believe that preserving the status quo is fundamental to preventing irreparable harm in Jackson Park. Nonetheless, our core arguments seek to protect the long-term environmental and historical resources in Jackson Park, and we look forward to presenting our evidence and these arguments in the appellate and district court in the coming weeks,” Michael Rachlis stated.
An Obama Foundation spokesman celebrated the ruling.
“We greatly appreciate the continued support of our project and process by the courts, including now from the highest court in the land,” the Obama Foundation spokesman declared.
“With their support, and the outpouring of support we’ve received from so many on the South Side and across the city of Chicago, we were so pleased to be able to kick off our construction this past week and get us one day closer to doors opening at the Obama Presidential Center,” the spokesman added.
Obama trying to weasel his way around environmental policies put in place by the Democrats that run Chicago is not surprising.
Nowadays, Barack Obama flies around on a private jet and summers in a 12-million-dollar oceanside estate.
At the same time Obama ignores the supposed crisis of so-called “global warming,” Obama lectures Americans on how they need to give up fossil fuels, live in smaller houses and accept a lower standard of living in the name of saving the planet.
Obama is not the only offender in this regard.
Joe Biden’s “climate czar” John Kerry supports the “Great Reset” to use so-called “climate change” to impose a radical revamp of American life in the mold of global socialism while commuting to and from Washington in a carbon-spewing private jet.
But now Barack Obama got a boost in this hypocrisy from Amy Coney Barrett.
