A bizarre scene broke out on the floor of the House of Representatives and social media.
No one could believe who was involved.
And this ex-stripper begged a Republican congressman to do one strange thing.
Rap star—and ex-stripper—Cardi B erupted after Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman took to the floor of the House of Representatives to speak on behalf of his constituents that filed complaints with the Federal Communications Commission over Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s raunchy performance of their hit song “WAP” during the Grammy Awards.
The duo performed the song—whose title is an acronym for female genitalia—gyrating around the stage simulating homosexual sex positions.
Over 1,000 Americans bombarded the Federal Communications Commission with complaints about such a raunchy performance appearing on broadcast television in primetime.
Grothman addressed this frustration in his speech on the House floor.
“I received complaints in my office, and rightfully so, about Cardi B and the Grammys,” Grothman declared. “They wonder why we are paying the FCC if they feel that this should be in living rooms across the nation.”
Grothman continued noting that Kamala Harris promoted Cardi B—who supported Joe Biden in the last presidential election—and demanded to know why the Federal Communications Commission refused to do its job.
“I realize that Kamala Harris has used her fame to promote this performer, but I assure the FCC that millions of Americans would view her performance as inconsistent with basic decency,” Grothman stated. “Wake up, FCC, and begin to do your job! The moral decline of America is partly due to your utter complacency.”
Grothman’s comments led to a furious reaction from Cardi B that she quickly regretted.
Cardi B posted on her social media that comments like those made by Grothman were why she was “starting to hate America.”
The rap star then demanded Grothman and others instead focus on the alleged “crisis” of police brutality.
“This is why I’m starting to hate America,” Cardi B posted on her Instagram. “People are in need of therapy just of the shit we see on the internet alone when it comes to police brutality.”
“This gets me so mad ya don’t even know!” Cardi added later on social media. “I think we all been on the edge this week since we seen police brutality back to back including watching one of the biggest case in history go down DUE to police brutality but wait ! This is [what] state representative decide to talk about.”
Cardi B was among the many leftists refusing to acknowledge the guilty verdict against Derek Chauvin.
Instead, they claimed that police and the criminal justice system were systemically racist.
But they never addressed the contradiction of how the system they claimed was systemically racist delivered a guilty verdict against a white police officer in the death of a black man.
Leftists like Cardi B hoped their anger would focus the public’s attention elsewhere.
