New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is supposed to be one of Joe Biden’s allies.
But Ocasio-Cortez is not acting that way.
And that’s because Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just let one secret slip that completely humiliated Joe Biden.
The Republican majority in the House of Representatives conducted a hearing on the woke takeover of the federal government.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the queen of the woke mob in Congress — used the occasion to grandstand and spread falsehoods.
But in the process of making a spectacle of herself Ocasio-Cortez ended up calling out Joe Biden for the cruel decision not to visit East Palestine, Ohio, the site of a train derailment which spewed toxic chemicals into the air, ground, and water.
“I can’t help but communicate that I find frustrating is that there are actual crises happening in this country. Couple of weeks ago there was a devastating, devastating derailment in East Palestine, Ohio,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
Ocasio-Cortez then told a story about how desperate residents from East Palestine showed up at her office — even though she is not their member of Congress — because Ocasio-Cortez explained that the rest of the government ignored them.
“And yesterday, I was just lucky enough to wrap up a hearing early and I was going back to my office. It was not scheduled. It wrapped up early and there were people from East Palestine at my door. Because they weren’t getting a response in in their own other levels of government,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
Of course the “other levels of government” refusing to respond to the people of East Palestine are Joe Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Biden said he could not remember if he spoke to the distressed community’s mayor or not and then lied about planning to visit the town.
The administration said Biden had no plans to visit East Palestine.
Buttigieg took two weeks to comment on the disaster and then lied to the public about how it was really Donald Trump’s fault.
Ocasio-Cortez then tried to distract from the meat of the matter by repeating an ever-popular falsehood on the left that Republicans can’t even define what woke means.
“We’re having a hearing right now and it’s about what the that the federal government is too woke. I mean, that’s seriously what we’re hearing,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
“And then there’s no definition of what woke is. But on paper, what’s actually being criticized in this hearing is that the so-called ‘woke’ policies are remote work for federal workers, especially those that live in rural areas and those who have disabilities, paying interns so that critical opportunities don’t just go to privileged kids whose parents can afford to pay for their rent, why they while they go on a free internship,” Ocasio-Cortez declared.
Of course conservatives can define what woke means.
What worries Ocasio-Cortez is the fact that an ever-increasing number of Americans can as well.
And an increasing number of Americans are fed up with the growing influence of groomers trying to lure children in schools into transgenderism, critical race theory in schools, and the oppressive focus in corporate America and college campuses on race and gender through diversity, equity and inclusion.
