Donald Trump got the bad news that he feared.
And once again it involved mail-in voting.
And that’s because as many as 750,000 illegal votes may tip this key race to the Democrats.
Georgia is set to hold two runoff elections for the state’s Senate seats on January 5.
Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue won more votes than their radical Democrat challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock on November 3, but now Democrats led by socialist Stacey Abrams are training their sights of their ballot harvesting and vote-by-mail operation on these two races.
Abrams caused alarm among Republicans when she announced that voters—most likely the vast majority of which are Democrats—requested a record 750,000 ballots.
“BREAKING: More than 750,000 Georgians have requested their ballots for the January 5 runoff elections. Have you? Request yours today and let’s get it done… again,” Abrams wrote on social media.
President Trump and his campaign are currently contesting the results in Georgia which shows Joe Biden ahead by over 12,000 votes based on a consent decree that they claim makes signature verification on mail-in ballots impossible.
“The Consent Decree signed by the Georgia Secretary of State, with the approval of Governor @BrianKempGA, at the urging of @staceyabrams, makes it impossible to check & match signatures on ballots and envelopes, etc. They knew they were going to cheat. Must expose real signatures!” the President wrote on social media.
Breitbart’s Joel Pollak explained why the campaign is correct to argue that this consent decree opens up the door for massive fraud on mail-in ballots.
Pollak wrote:
The consent decree describes a new procedure for reviewing signatures. When there is a mismatch, an election official must consult with two other officials. Then they have to vote. The ballot can only be rejected if a majority agrees that there is a mismatch. Then, all of the officials must write their names on the rejected envelope before starting the “cure” process.
The practical effect of that new requirement is to make signature matching impossible. With hundreds of thousands of absentee ballots to be counted, it is difficult to pull additional officials off their assignments to examine a signature. And with a rejection tarnished as racist “voter suppression,” no official is going to want his or her name listed on the envelope.
The two Georgia Senate runoffs are crucial races.
Right now Republicans hold a 50-48 advantage in the Senate.
But if Democrats sweep the races it would push the Senate into a 50-50 deadlock.
The last time the Senate was evenly split 50-50, Democrats essentially bribed Vermont Republican Jim Jeffords to switch parties and give the Democrats a 51-49 majority.
Many expect Democrats to target Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski or Susan Collins as potential party switchers if they win both Georgia runoffs which would hand control of both houses of Congress to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for at least the next two years.
