Barack Obama spent eight years trying to fundamentally transform America into a socialist nation.
Now that his time in office has long since ended, Obama’s taking stock of his presidency.
And Barack Obama admitted one failure that will leave you speechless.
At an event for Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Alliance foundation, the former president discussed police shootings of young black men when he was president.
Obama falsely claimed he never took sides in these disputes.
“I did not in any way want to endanger their capacity to go in, investigate and potentially charge perpetrators, which meant that I could not come down or appear to come down decisively in terms of guilt or innocence,” Obama added.
In Obama’s first months in office, he accused a police officer of acting “stupidly” in arresting Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates after a neighbor called the police seeing Gates struggle to get into his own home thinking Gates was a burglar.
It was under Obama that Black Lives Matter rioters began burning down American cities.
The first Black Lives Matter wave of terror struck Ferguson, Missouri following Officer Darren Wilson shooting and killing Michael Brown following Brown attacking Wilson.
Black Lives Matter mobs also torched Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray.
Even though Black Lives Matter terrorized two American cities, Obama still invited the group’s leaders to the White House in a clear sign that Obama embraced the violent group’s ultimate goals if not their methods.
And Obama did come down on the side of guilt or innocence in some cases.
After George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin following a fight, critics contend Obama tried to incite the type of riots and violence that became commonplace following Black Lives Matter protests by claiming that Trayvon Martin could have been ‘his son.’
“Keep in mind, in 2012, I won. But I didn’t win congressmen, and we didn’t win a bunch of governorships back. We didn’t win a bunch of state legislators back,” Obama added, “And so, all the reform initiatives that we were coming up with and the ideas that had been generated, we weren’t able to translate into as bold a set of initiatives as I would have wanted.”
What Obama is leaving out is the fact that around 1,000 Democrats lost seats at every level of government during his eight years in office because of the backlash against his big government agenda.
Obama won re-election in 2012 due to the fact that he was a personally popular incumbent president running against a weak Republican ticket of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
Ryan and Romney refused to attack which allowed Obama to coast to victory on the back of the advantages of incumbency and his personal charisma.
But Democrats paid the price for Obama’s divisive presidency.
In 2016 the people revolted against Obama’s embrace of Black Lives Matter—whose leaders Obama invited to the White House—as well as the creeping regime of political correctness the left began to impose on the country by electing Donald Trump.
