Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee dominated the headlines.
The fake news media focused on the irrelevant story about Robert Mueller complaining that the media did not accurately report on his carefully crafted anti-Trump narrative.
That story had no value because Mueller complained about Attorney General William Barr’s March 24th statement about Mueller’s conclusions.
A lightly redacted version of the Mueller report was released on April 18th which allowed every American to judge for themselves about the “context” of Mueller’s findings.
The real news coming out of the hearing was Attorney General William Barr revealing the existence of multiple criminal investigations into Barack Obama’s Deep State.
Chuck Grassley told the Attorney General that “leaks undermine the ability of investigators to investigate” and that “leaks to the papers while Congress’s questions to the Department go unanswered is unacceptable.”
Grassley continued questioning Attorney General Barr, asking, “What are you doing to investigate unauthorized media contacts by the Department and FBI officials during the Russian investigation?”
Attorney General Barr responded in the affirmative.
“We have multiple criminal leak investigations underway,” the Attorney General told Senator Grassley.
“When you’re investigating leaks at the Department of Justice and the FBI, I hope you will include the Mueller team as well,” Senator John Kennedy told the Attorney General.
