Barack Obama just got some very bad news.
This time he found himself on the wrong end of an FBI leak.
And a bombshell revelation just proved Barack Obama was guilty of this act of treason.
Former President Obama’s “spygate” scandal continues to snowball.
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz is preparing a report on the possible abuses of power that occurred when the FBI obtained a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
But he and Attorney General William Barr are also investigating other aspects of how the Russia investigation began.
Deep State agents within the FBI and other intelligence community agencies know their time is running out.
So they are leaking the criminal acts the FBI took against the Trump campaign to friendly media outlets to try and frame the narrative on their terms.
That’s what happened when the New York Times published a bombshell story about how the FBI deployed a second human spy against Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos.
Azra Turk posed as Cambridge Professor Stefan Halper’s assistant in a meeting with Papadopoulos.
The New York Times exclusively reports:
The F.B.I. also decided to send Ms. Turk to take part in the operation, people familiar with it said, and to pose as Mr. Halper’s assistant. For the F.B.I., placing such a sensitive undertaking in the hands of a trusted government investigator was essential.
British intelligence officials were also notified about the operation, the people familiar with the operation said, but it was unclear whether they provided assistance. A spokeswoman for the British government declined to comment.
Turk was a “honeypot” who tried to flirt with Papadopoulos so he’d drop his guard and reveal information about the Trump campaign colluding with the Russians.
But there are more questions about Turk than there are answers at this point.
Papadopoulos and others do not think Turk was working for the FBI.
They suspect something far more sinister.
“Turk” traveled abroad under an assumed name with a phony resume.
That is the cover story of a CIA operative.
And it unearths another layer in this scandal that points in disturbing directions.
If the CIA dispatched a clandestine operative to work with the FBI on a spying operation against Barack Obama’s political opponent, how widespread within the administration was knowledge of it?
Did Attorney General Loretta Lynch know?
Since this only could have happened at CIA Director John Brennan’s directive, did he brief the “Gang of Eight” – the chairman and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees – on this operation?
And just how in the loop was Barack Obama?
Few Americans believe this undertaking came to fruition without Obama’s knowledge and permission.
If that is the case, Obama is guilty of weaponizing the CIA and FBI against the Republican nominee for President to rig the 2016 election in favor of Hillary Clinton.
