Barack Obama is still doing damage to the United States.
President Trump is trying to clean up the mess Obama left behind after eight disastrous years in the White House.
But Barack Obama just scored this act of revenge on Trump that sent him into a fit of rage.
Donald Trump broke the establishment in 2016.
Since then, there’s been a concerted effort by the Democrats to reverse the results of that election in direct defiance of the will of the American people.
The two main methods of attack against Trump have been the deep state and big media.
The deep state has engaged in all kinds of heinous activity to undermine Trump, and the so-called mainstream media have sold these bad deeds to the American people as necessary and honorable.
But another plank of the #Resistance against Trump has been activist federal judges appointed by Barack Obama.
Even though the President has broad powers in terms of immigration and national security, federal judges blocked Trump administration initiatives immediately after he took office.
Since then, activist judges have acted as gadflies against the Trump administration.
And another Obama appointee is mucking things up for Trump.
Michael Simon, a federal judge in Oregon, placed a temporary restraining order on a Trump policy that would’ve required green card applicants to show that they could provide healthcare for themselves.
This is a reasonable position to everyone that isn’t on the far left.
It makes no sense for America to take in immigrants who will immediately go on the dole and add healthcare costs that would plunge the country even further into unconscionable debt.
Immigration is designed to make the country stronger, not serve as some kind of welfare system.
However, the left has gone wildly radical on the issue of immigration.
Leftists used to be hawks on immigration.
Labor leaders used to protest illegal aliens crossing the border, and famed labor organizer César Chavez took it one step further and actually beat up border crossers as a deterrent.
Democrats were hawkish on immigration in the 1990s.
Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address was similar to Trump’s “America First” proclamations.
Even Obama himself said that border security was deeply important.
But something changed in the Democrat Party.
They realized first-time immigrant voters pull the lever for the Democrats 80% of the time.
The Democrats have done a poor job of selling American voters on their policies, so their goal is now to import new voters.
That’s why the move by this Obama-appointed judge is so sinister.
The left is attacking border security and national sovereignty in any way they can.
They want open borders on top of universal healthcare for everyone who sets foot in America.
This is an insane policy, but it’s the only move Democrats can make when a growing number of American citizens see through their lies.
