Barack Obama thought he’d personally been able to escape the worst of the Russiagate scandal.
But new documents are tearing down his legacy.
Barack Obama was shaken at the scandalous paper trail that led straight to him.
It’s bad enough that the Obama administration was using unsubstantiated allegations of Russian collusion as an excuse to spy on members of the Trump campaign in the middle of 2016.
Never has a shred of evidence appeared that Trump was actually working with the Russians and the FBI made multiple changes on their application for a FISA warrant in order to conduct surveillance on the Trump campaign.
And Obama knew the contents of at least one phone call that the FBI tapped according to his then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.
Yet it gets even worse for Obama because while he didn’t have any evidence of Trump colluding with the Russians,he was told there was evidence that the Russian collusion was started by Hillary Clinton to distract from her email scandals.
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified documents that show that former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Barack Obama.
“Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s handwritten notes – which were taken after he briefed Obama on the intelligence the CIA received – and a CIA memo, which revealed that officials referred the matter to the FBI for potential investigative action,” Fox News reported. “That referral was sent to then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok.”
The mainstream media is trying to protect Obama and are claiming that it was mere Russian disinformation.
“This is not Russian disinformation. Even Brennan knew, or he wouldn’t be briefing the president of the United States on it,” the source said. “There is a high threshold to orally brief the president of the United States and he clearly felt this met that threshold.”
In other words, Obama knew that there was good reason to believe that Russian collusion was a mere political rumor.
Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell responded to the news by writing on Twitter: “Proof. @BarackObama @JoeBiden directed their administration to use the powers of government to attack @realDonaldTrump campaign and then transition. The Susan Rice email to herself after the Oval Office meeting was part of a coverup.”
The most shocking part of this whole story is that the mainstream media are complicit in it.
The mainstream media aren’t just reporting with a partisan spin, they’ve been actively lying to the American people.
The Obama administration showed that Democrats and the mainstream media can’t currently be trusted with power because on the very highest levels they are misusing the system.
