The FBI is in the middle of another scandal.
Once again Americans are asking questions.
And Bill Clinton breathed a sigh of relief when this sex crime evidence went missing.
The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell is the last real chance for Americans to receive answers about Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes as well as his connection to rich and powerful men that traveled and partied with Epstein.
Federal authorities accused Maxwell of acting as Epstein’s madam and trafficking the underage girls Epstein and others would allegedly engage in sexual misconduct with.
But that truth may never come to light.
FBI agent Kelly Maguire testified that the FBI broke into one of Epstein’s safes after his arrest and photographed the contents which included computer hard drives among other valuables.
Maguire told the court that by the time the FBI obtained a warrant four days later the safe was empty and the evidence was missing.
The Telegraph reports:
Special Agent Kelly Maguire recalled how CDs and other items were recovered by the FBI from a locked safe during an initial search of the Manhattan home on July 6 and July 7, 2019, after Epstein’s arrest on sex assault charges.
The FBI agent said officers broke open the safe with a saw, finding the CDs, jewellery, computer hard drives, “loose diamonds”, passports and “large amounts of US currency.”
They took photographs of the items, but left them at the residence as they did not have the warrant to remove them. When they returned four days later, on July 11, they were no longer there.
Obviously the key item in the safe was the computer hard drives.
No one will ever know what data they contained, but the contents of those hard drives must have represented dynamite that either incriminated individuals that partied with Epstein or engaged in misconduct with the young girls Epstein allegedly trafficked.
Epstein may have treated those hard drives like a security blanket to blackmail people he traveled with in case matters went south.
This missing evidence combined with Epstein’s mysterious death in a Manhattan jail cell means Epstein likely took his secrets – as well as the secrets of countless others – to the grave.
Bill Clinton was someone that befriended Epstein and traveled with Epstein.
Clinton’s given misleading or false statements about when and where he first met Epstein as well as how many times the two traveled together.
There is no evidence Clinton engaged in any sexual misconduct with underage girls while traveling with Epstein.
But Epstein’s connection to Clinton is embarrassing enough.
And Epstein may have held on to information, travel logs or documents that showed a much deeper relationship with Clinton than anyone previously knew.
But now the world will never know.
