Joe Biden’s Justice Department has gone too far.
After targeting Donald Trump, Biden’s attorney general is now setting his sights on members of Congress.
And now, Devin Nunes just dropped a hammer on the Justice Department thanks to one massive blackmail scandal.
For the better part of two years, Joe Biden has weaponized the Justice Department on a scale that has never been seen before.
From targeting Donald Trump to going after conservative activists across the country, the attorney general and his Justice Department under Joe Biden have become little more than a tool for the radical Left to persecute their political opponents.
And now, one major red line was just crossed after Republican Congressman Devin Nunes revealed the Justice Department’s most stunning political scandal yet.
Just The News reports, “The former House Intelligence Committee chairman is suggesting the Justice Department illegally spied on him and possibly sought blackmail material after a bombshell revelation that federal prosecutors used grand jury subpoenas five years ago to get the phone and email records of his top investigators during the congressional probe that unraveled the now-disproven Russia collusion narrative.”
Devin Nunes is a top-ranking Republican member of Congress who has used his positions in the past to expose the Left’s war on conservatives using everything they have at their disposal.
Nunes helped to debunk the “Russian collision” myth, and he exposed a significant degree of the left-wing bias that exists within most Silicon Valley tech giants.
Now, after angering the Left one too many times, Nunes himself has been the target of Biden’s Justice Department, and now he is finally speaking out about their attempts to spy on him.
“This is, I believe, unprecedented spying in modern political history at this point, and just sad that it’s taken us almost six years to discover it,” retired Rep. Devin Nunes said. “I think they probably were spying on quite a few of my staff.”
But if that wasn’t enough, Nunes also revealed the reasons why the Department of Justice was trying to spy on him and his staff, and it has nothing to do with national security or defending democracy.
“Clearly what they are doing … is targeting me to figure out what do we know, how do we know it, and how do we learn it, what are we going to do with the information. And secondly, most likely, to look for anything that they could potentially blackmail us on,” added Nunes.
By spying on a top-ranking Republican member of Congress for the intention of seeking information to blackmail him with, Biden’s Justice Department has just found itself in yet another scandal, joining the growing list of examples related to how the federal government’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been turned on the American people.
From colluding with Twitter to censor conservative stories right before the 2020 election to labeling parents “domestic terrorists” for speaking out against radical school boards, the Left has infiltrated virtually every powerful federal agency in existence, and has begun to turn these organizations against conservatives of all stripes.
