Fake news reporters and Democrats in Washington wrote President Trump for dead in 2020.
They may have spoken too soon.
That’s because this brand new poll left Donald Trump speechless.
When Donald Trump began attacking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow members of the “the Squad” for their anti-American beliefs, the collective wisdom of official Washington was that President Trump suffered another self-inflicted wound that will drive suburban Republicans into the arms of Democrats in 2020.
President Trump won 42 percent of voters with a college degree, and 52 percent of white women in 2016 and the so-called “experts” in the fake news media were sure that the nonstop media lies about the President’s tweets being racist would isolate the President from a significant chunk of those voters.
But President Trump saw things differently.
Donald Trump told reporters at the White House he enjoyed this fight and that it benefited him politically.
“I’m not relishing the fight, I’m enjoying it because I have to get the word out to the American people,” Trump told reporters before departing for his Make America Great Again rally in North Carolina.
As evidence, President Trump cited a vote Republicans lined up in united opposition to a Democrat resolution condemning President Trump’s tweets about the four Congresswomen as “racist.”
“I do think I’m winning the political fight, I think I’m winning it by a lot,” Trump continued. “I think the story is that 187 Republicans voted in favor of Trump and four voted against. There is great unity in the Republican party.”
President Trump went on to explain that the four Congresswomen hate this country and that the President was happy to contrast his patriotic vision of America First to the four Democrats’ deep-seated hatred for America.
“The four congresswomen, I think they’ve said horrible things … when you look at some of the things they’ve said, they’re unthinkable,” Trump explained. “If somebody else, or me, said something like that it would be historic. You should look at some of the horrible statements because there have never been statements like that.”
Unfortunately for the media, the polling data backed up President Trump.
A brand new Reuters poll found President Trump’s approval ratings ticking up with Republicans while his overall approval rating remains unchanged.
If the fake news media thought suburban women and college educated voters that went for Trump in 2016 were ready to abandon him because President Trump attacked the media’s heroes they were sorely mistaken.
The problem with the fake news media is they live in a social media bubble.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her allies have massive Twitter followings where so-called “journalists” spend all day.
That bubble distorts the fake news media’s perception of reality.
They can’t see that the self-proclaimed “Squad” are massively unpopular in the America that exists outside the funhouse mirror version of reality that Twitter presents.
