Democrats are gearing up for one big fight that will decide control of the United States Senate.
The outcome could set the course for the entire nation.
And now Chuck Schumer got some bad news that had Democrats preparing for the worst.
Georgia Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue will face Democrat challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in a pair of runoff elections on January 5.
In the November vote, most of the focus was on Perdue and Loeffler as the election was a referendum on President Trump.
Even though the Republicans in both races earned more votes than the Democrats, since Loeffler and Perdue did not clear the 50 percent threshold they head to the runoff.
But now the focus is shifting to Ossoff and Warnock and the radical, anti-Americans’ beliefs.
Warnock’s time as a pastor is coming under fire for his hate-filled and racist sermons.
In one rant Warnock claimed the American government prioritized the opioid epidemic because the victims were white.
“At least it was a war when the drug was crack. And the bodies were black and brown … But now that we are talking about opioids and meth and the faces of the human tragedy are white and suburban, suddenly we have a public health emergency,” Warnock fumed.
Warnock also attacked a “spiritual sickness” in America that could only be cured by doing away with capitalism and embracing Marxism.
“There is a spiritual sickness affecting all of America in the cities and the rural areas and the suburbs,” Warnock ranted.
Warnock added that “there is an aching void that cannot be filled with consumeristic preoccupations filled with getting the next thing.”
Jon Ossoff added to the Democrats’ troubles in the Georgia runoffs by proclaiming his support for another coronavirus lockdown.
“The problem we’ve had all year is that politicians have been suppressing and ignoring public health advice. It’s time to trust the experts, listen to public health professionals in a public health crisis,” Ossoff said on fake news CNN.
When pressed by host Dana Bash, Ossoff claimed that so-called “public health experts”—and not elected officials—should run America’s coronavirus response.
“I think we should follow the expertise of public health experts like those of the CDC, which is based here in Georgia, and if that is the consensus of the public health community, we need to take that advice very seriously,” Ossoff added.
But when Bash tried to drill down on what that meant Ossoff declared that if bureaucrats insisted on a shutdown Ossoff would support closing businesses and throwing tens of millions of Americans out of work.
“If the CDC and its leadership gave us strong indication that those kinds of stronger mitigation measures are necessary to save lives and contain the spread of the virus, it would be malpractice for politicians to ignore that advice,” Ossoff added.
The 2020 election results showed there is much larger opposition to lockdowns and other coronavirus “mitigation” strategies.
Ossoff and Warnock are racist, anti-American socialists.
In the January 5 runoff the focus will be on their offensive rhetoric and destructive and radical policy platforms.
And that could prove to be fatal for the Democrats’ chances of winning those races.
