Chuck Schumer has tried to paint Donald Trump as a heartless tyrant for his crackdown on illegal immigration.
He cranked up the attacks after Trump announced he was ending Obama’s illegal DACA amnesty scheme.
But a secret from Schumer’s past just turned everything upside-down.
Schumer was spitting mad when Trump announced he would rescind Obama’s DACA amnesty program after a six month delay.

His tweets were the perfect expression of the Democrat Party’s religious belief in open borders and unlimited immigration.
Democrats were also quick to reject any hint of a deal where so-called “DREAMers” would be given legal status in exchange for provisions of the RAISE Act being passed that would curb legal immigration.
But once upon a time, Democrats did pretend to care about securing the border.
Chuck Schumer – and 26 other Democratic Senators, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – voted for legislation in 2006 that authorized the construction of 700 miles of border fence.
The Boston Globe reports:
“As a senator, Barack Obama once offered measured praise for the border control legislation that would become the basis for one of Donald Trump’s first acts as president.
“The bill before us will certainly do some good,” Obama said on the Senate floor in October 2006. He praised the legislation, saying it would provide “better fences and better security along our borders” and would “help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.”
Obama was talking about the Secure Fence Act of 2006, legislation authorizing a barrier along the southern border passed into law with the support of 26 Democratic senators including party leaders like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer.”
Schumer’s flip-flop on immigration enforcement shows how extreme and out of touch the Democrat Party has grown.
The Party is so dependent on minority voters and gentry liberals clustered in urban areas that they cannot accept any limits or restrictions on immigration.
But this spelled disaster in 2016, and it will doom the party again in 2018.
