The corporate media and Democrat Party’s anxiety about a Donald Trump comeback in 2024 grows every day.
The panic is reaching a critical mass.
And now CNN sent one warning to Joe Biden that left Donald Trump grinning from ear to ear.
CNN analyst Van Jones is worried about Joe Biden’s failures on every front to deliver on his campaign promises which leaves the Democrats in a precarious political position.
Jones stated that Biden’s socialist agenda running aground in Congress amounted to a series of self-inflicted wounds that drove down Biden’s poll numbers.
“And then he steps on a rake and then he slips on a banana peel and then he falls down the stairs with some marbles and now people are looking at him in a negative light,” Jones stated.
Jones tried to paint a rosy scenario for a Biden turnaround so as not to terrify CNN’s liberal viewers.
“Now, can they recover? Yes, they can recover. If, at the — this time next year, if gas prices have come down, if cases are going down, jobs going up, you’re going to be in a different situation,” Jones began.
But Jones could only sugarcoat Biden’s sinking political fortunes so much.
Jones described Democrats as staring into the political abyss because the American people looked at Joe Biden’s failure to deliver on COVID, the economy, illegal immigration, Afghanistan and inflation and view Biden as a weak and incompetent leader.
“But right now, the Democratic Party is looking over the edge of a cliff, and there’s a lot of fear and concern. And you’re not seeing that strong Joe Biden leadership that I think people were expecting, to get stuff done, to get the next round of stuff done,” Jones added.
Jones whined that Biden is “not getting credit for the great stuff that he’s done” even though Biden’s entire agenda lies in tatters.
However, Jones circled back to Biden’s mask and vaccine mandates not bringing about an end to COVID and the Biden Big Government agenda driving up inflation which choked off economic and job growth.
Jones cautioned that if the economy sputters and COVID hangs around next year Democrats will be looking at a bloodbath in the midterms.
“Because he promised more and hasn’t delivered yet. And so, I’m worried. At the same time, I do fundamentally think that we’re going to be in a better place with regard to COVID this time next year. … If you’d stop with Delta, if you don’t wind up with an Omega variant, I think this time next year, cases are down, the gas prices are down, jobs are up, and he’s got some real legislative wins. But if any of those four go the wrong way, if cases are up, gas prices are up, you still can’t pull the legislative win, we’re in very deep trouble,” Jones concluded.
Donald Trump will not make a decision on running for president in 2024 until after next year’s midterm election.
The surest sign Trump will run for re-election in 2024 – and enter the election as the favorite – is if Americans view Joe Biden as a failed president and deliver Republicans a landslide win next November.
