Democrats hate President Trump.
They will do almost anything to see him out of the White House.
And one Democratic group is now turning things up a notch by calling on Mueller to do the unthinkable.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to be wrapping up his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election within the next few months.
But one Democratic group is asking that Mueller cut to the chase and end the Trump Presidency by himself.
A group called the Democratic Coalition, which bills itself as “The nation’s largest grassroots Resistance organization”, is now petitioning Mueller to arrest the President of the United States.
The Democratic Coalition recently put out a tweet celebrating Christmas with a re-worked rendition of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”.
The tweet included several members of the group singing the following:
“We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
We wish you a Mueller Christmas,
And impeachment next year.”
Mueller does not have the power to impeach the President, let alone arrest him.
It’s not even clear if the Special Counsel has the power to indict or even subpoena Trump.
But that isn’t stopping Democrats, who couldn’t even spend Christmas Day without showing their hatred for the President.
While Mueller won’t be arresting the President, one of the items on the Democratic Coalition’s wish list may come true in 2019, Democrats may impeach President Trump.
The Daily Caller reports, “A number of Democrats who are poised to take leadership positions, such as California Reps. Maxine Waters and Adam Schiff, have repeatedly called either for impeachment or the ramping up of certain investigations.”
“Waters famously encouraged people to confront Trump administration officials in public places. Schiff has called just in the last week for investigations into Russian money laundering, which he believes will lead to Trump business ties,” the Daily Caller adds.
While it is nearly impossible for Democrats to get the number of votes they would need in the Senate to remove Trump from office, there is still substantial talk in Washington of the Pelosi-controlled House of Representatives bringing up articles of impeachment against the President next year.
That’s not enough for the Democratic Coalition however, who are demanding that Mueller haul the President off to a jail cell by himself.
The tweet currently has over 5,000 retweets and over 8,000 likes.
However, it hasn’t been well-received on the internet.
The top tweets in reply to the Democratic Coalition’s “Mueller Christmas” jingle include comments such as “this is very embarrassing and extremely unhelpful” and “Well at least now we know the DNC didn’t waste any money on singing lessons”.
2018 has shown just how low Democrats are willing to go in their quest to destroy the President, but as the year begins to come to an end, it’s clear they aren’t yet finished embarrassing themselves in their hatred for Trump.
