Democrats love to attack Trump.
It’s their entire game plan in 2018.
But a top Democrat’s latest attack failed after this skeleton popped out of his closet.
Skeletons In A Top Democrat’s Closet
Democrats never fail at making fools of themselves.
They are so quick to outrage, they often forget to check their past.
So when Sen. Cory Booker began attacking Judge Brett Kavanaugh for attempted rape allegations, many saw right through him.
He stated that the allegations against Kavanaugh were “serious, credible, and deeply troubling.”
Booker is working with other Democrats to block his nomination.
But Booker has so far stayed silent on something from his past many are bringing up.
In college, Booker wrote about an experience where he made unwanted sexual advances.
He describes attempting to grab a woman’s breast and having his hand pushed away.
This only came to light in recent days.
Might Ruin More Than His Arguments
With Booker, this accusation has major implications.
For one, it casts doubt on everything he is saying against Kavanaugh.
If he truly believes Kavanaugh’s alleged actions are disqualifying, then Booker should step down as well.
However, he is one of the favorites to run against Trump in 2020.
He is a well-liked Democrat and a leading figure in the anti-Trump movement.
But in the age of #MeToo, his statements may cause trouble for him in the future.
One of the things Sen. Al Franken resigned over was a photo of him touching a women’s breast while she was sleeping.
What Booker admits to doing is very similar.
So his actions may come back to bite him if he chooses to run for President.
But in the Democrat party, there’s no telling.
Democrats Given A Free Pass
Democrats regularly let those in their own party off the hook.
Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison is facing troubling allegations as well.
The son of Ellison’s ex-girlfriend claims Ellison abused his mom.
And it isn’t just his words; a police report detailing the abuse is now in the public’s eye too.
But the Democrats and the media have ignored it.
CNN has purposefully avoided discussing it on their show.
If Ellison was a Republican, it would likely be front-page news.
Perhaps most troubling is the fact that Ellison is running for Attorney General in Minnesota —the most powerful legal position in the state.
However, even with a near-media blackout, polls in Minnesota show that the scandal is hurting him.
It is unclear if the same thing will happen to Cory Booker.
Do you think Sen. Booker would win against President Trump?
