When Biden finally decided to answer for his failure, Biden delivered a speech containing multiple falsehoods such as saying Al Qaeda was gone from Afghanistan and Americans had no trouble making their way to the Kabul Airport to board evacuation flights.
Neither of those statements are true.
The Pentagon admitted Al Qaeda still operates in Afghanistan and that the Taliban beat American citizens trying to flee to the airport.
Biden’s disoriented and forgetful performance led Americans to wonder if Biden’s cognitive decline rendered him unfit to serve as president.
A brand-new Rasmussen poll found that – for the first time – a majority of Americans do not believe Joe Biden is physically or mentally capable of performing the duties of president of the United States.
Rasmussen reported:
A majority of voters don’t think President Joe Biden is mentally and physically capable of doing his job, and suspect the White House is actually being run by others.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 39% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Biden is really doing the job of president – that’s down from 47% in March. A majority of voter (51%) now say others are making decisions for Biden behind the scenes. Another 10% are not sure.
After Rasmussen released this poll, Biden did nothing to dispel the notion he was incapable of serving as president.
After Biden delivered a speech demanding woke corporations impose vaccine mandates on Americans, Biden wandered away without taking questions.
Biden’s administration hid how many of the 48,000 people evacuated from Afghanistan were American citizens and how many Americans remained in Afghanistan.
Reporters shouted questions looking for answers and Biden wandered away without answering.
“Do you know how many Americans are left in Afghanistan sir?” a reporter yelled at Biden.
After Biden’s frail and forgetful appearance, critics wondered if Biden did not want to answer that question or could not answer the question because he could not remember the answer.
Biden further squandered the benefit of the doubt on that front when he could not remember the name of FEMA Director Deanne Criswell during a speech updating Americans on his administration’s response to Hurricane Henri.

Joe Biden’s failures and mistakes in Afghanistan opened the flood gates to questions about his competency and capability to serve as president.
And the Rasmussen poll shows the American people rendered a verdict that does not bode well for Biden and his allies.
