Democrats are waging unyielding war on Donald Trump.
Their only goal is to attack the President on every front and drive him from office.
But Democrats just got some really bad news about one key leader supporting Donald Trump.
One of the big crisis situations in the outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus was the virus’s spread in the Grand Princess cruise ship.
19 crew members and 21 passengers of the over 3,000 guests on the ship tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus.
Cruise ships became a hotbed for outbreaks when hundreds of passengers on a Japanese cruise ship fell ill in recent weeks.
For weeks, Democrats had been whipping up hysteria and fear among the general public with false claims about how President Trump fell asleep at the switch and allowed the coronavirus to spread like wildfire across America.
But Democrats were at a loss for words when California Governor Gavin Newsom – one of the most radical leftists and Trump haters in all of America – endorsed President Trump’s response to the spread of the Chinese coronavirus across California and on the Grand Princess cruise ship.
At a press conference announcing the plan to bring the Grand Princess into port and test all the passengers so those that are well can go home and those that were infected can be quarantined, a fake news reporter tried to bait Governor Newsom into criticizing the President by asking him, “Over the past couple of days, President Trump has said that he would prefer if none of the passengers aboard these cruises landed on U.S. soil. Did he mention any of that to you in your conversation?”
Governor Newsom shot down that question by emphasizing that President Trump was all-in on helping the state of California and the passengers aboard the ship.
“We’re gonna do the right thing,” Governor Newsom quoted President Trump as saying, as well as, “You have my support, all of our support, logistically and otherwise.”
Newsom also said that President Trump made it clear every resource of the federal government was available to help with the Governor saying President Trump promised “everything that I could have hoped for.”
“And we had a very long conversation, and every single thing he said, they followed through on,” Governor Newsom added about his conversations with the federal government.
The governor also praised Vice President Pence and the coronavirus task force that President Trump established.
“So I’m just not interested in finding daylight on those statements because every single thing his administration — and it stars at the top, including the vice president — has been consistent with the expectation that we’d repatriate these passengers and we’d do it in a way that does justice to the spirit that defines the best of our country and the state of California,” Governor Newsom declared.
Governor Newsom’s praise for the Trump administration’s support for his state undercut Democrats’ hopes that the virus will spread wildly and cause chaos which will allow them to use it as a political weapon in the 2020 campaign.
