Devin Nunes is the biggest thorn in Adam Schiff’s side during his impeachment scheme.
With access to Schiff’s impeachment hearings, he is doing everything to shut him down.
And Nunes just exposed Schiff’s big secret that will destroy the deep state.
Following the infamous claims from a so-called “whistleblower,” Adam Schiff has been moving full speed ahead to impeach President Trump.
For months, they claimed that Trump attempted to give Ukraine’s President a “quid pro quo” deal to force an investigation into Joe Biden.
But now they don’t talk about that anymore, and instead use the term “bribery.”
As it turns out, that was a well thought out shift, with a Washington post report showing that Democrats ran a focus group that found that voters in key House battleground districts respond better to “bribery” than “quid pro quo.”
“According to two people familiar with the results, which circulated among Democrats this week, the focus groups found ‘bribery’ to be most damning. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because the results have not been made public,” the report said.
This proves that the impeachment debacle has nothing to do with finding the truth, but rather hurting President Trump.
Nunes brought this up directly to Schiff’s face during the now-public impeachment hearings.
“After trying out several different accusations against President Trump, the Democrats have recently settled on ‘bribery’—according to widespread reports, they replaced their ‘quid pro quo’ allegation because it wasn’t polling well,” Nunes said.
This shuts down any argument that impeachment is anything other than partisan politics.
And it comes after Schiff has been shifting on the terms he is using to describe the crimes he alleges from President Trump.
In a recent interview he even claimed that it was an “extortion scheme.”
“We have enough evidence from the depositions that we’ve done to warrant bringing this forward, evidence of an extortion scheme, using taxpayer dollars to ask a foreign government to investigate the president’s opponent,” he said on CBS News’s Face the Nation.
It is unclear if the focus group looked into the term “extortion” as well, but it wouldn’t be surprising.
Other Democrats have been using the term “bribery” during national interviews.
“Because you have an elected official, the president, demanding action of a foreign country in this case, and providing something of value, which is the investigation, and he is withholding aid, which is that official act,” Democrat Rep. Jackie Speier told ABC News’s This Week.
“And the Constitution is very clear: treason, bribery, or acts of omission. In this case, it’s clearly one of those,” she said.
Some Democrats are trying to excuse the focus group as their reasoning.
Trying to excuse away the focus group reasoning for using the term “bribery,” Democrat Rep. Jim Himes told NBC News’s Meet the Press it is simply less confusing than the term quid pro quo.
“I have two problems with quid pro quo,” he said. “Number one, when you’re trying to persuade the American people of something that is really pretty simple, which is that the president acted criminally and extorted in the way a mob boss would extort somebody, a vulnerable foreign country, it’s probably best not to use Latin words to explain it.”
At the end of the day, this proves just how involved the deep state is with Democrat plans, and that their impeachment scheme is all about destroying Trump, not about exposing any actual crimes.
They failed in their Russia hoax, and are now moving on to whatever fake scandal they can manufacture.
