Rep. Devin Nunes is working overtime to be the biggest thorn in the side of Adam Schiff he can be.
Nunes continues to call him out on his lies.
And he just sent Schiff into a fit of rage with a fact about impeachment.
Wednesday was Adam Schiff’s big day.
His first set of public impeachment hearings began, and the eyes of the nation were upon him.
But it didn’t take long for America to turn off their televisions, and for reporters to even stream out of the hearing room at the Capitol.
Schiff’s long awaited moment turned into a complete disaster, and it all began with ranking Republican member of the committee Devin Nunes destroying his credibility.
Nunes began his remarks by pointing out the fact that Schiff has no credibility, and that his motivations are not in finding the truth, but in removing President Trump from office.
He began his testimony by listing a series of shady things that Schiff and his pals in the Democrat Party have done.
“We should forget about them reading fabrications of Trump-Russia collusion from the Steele dossier into the congressional record. We should also forget about them trying to obtain nude pictures of Trump from Russian pranksters who pretended to be Ukrainian officials,” Nunes said.
He went on to bring up example of malicious Democrat leaks, and outright lies that they have spread.
In particular he blasts Schiff for “leaking a false story to CNN while he was still testifying to our committee claiming that Donald Trump Jr. was colluding with WikiLeaks.”
Nunes finished things up by saying that these examples make Schiff and the Democrats “the last people on Earth with the credibility to hurl more preposterous accusations at their political opponents,” describing the impeachment hearings as a “carefully orchestrated media smear campaign.”
This was on the very first day of Schiff’s impeachment hearings.
Nunes showed the entire world just how corrupt Schiff is, and how he isn’t running the hearings for any reason other than to take down President Trump.
Schiff has already decided that Trump is guilty, and the only point of his hearings is to convince everybody of that point.
He is more than willing to lie if that is what it takes.
There are already multiple examples of Schiff lying since starting the impeachment hearings.
Most notably, he outright lied about the claims that came from the so-called “whistleblower,” reading an entirely made up transcript purported to be of a call between Trump and the President of Ukraine.
Following this lie, Trump questioned whether Schiff should be arrested for treason.
Many Republicans were calling for Schiff to be censured for his behavior, with some stating that he should be ejected from the U.S. House.
That seems to be the only way to force some sanity in the House.
Do you think Schiff should be removed from office?
