Joe Biden’s federal agents are continuing the Deep State witch hunt against Donald Trump.
But they crossed a line that could violate the law.
Donald Trump got hit with some bad news about the FBI raiding Rudy Giuliani.
According to The New York Times, federal investigators zeroed in on Rudy Giuliani pushing to remove Obama holdover and Deep State loyalist Marie Yovanovitch as United States Ambassador to Ukraine.
Democrats eventually placed this episode at the center of the first impeachment hoax against Donald Trump.
Now federal agents stormed into Giuliani’s apartment and seized electronic devices looking for evidence that Giuliani lobbied the Trump administration on behalf of Ukrainian interests with lobbying as a foreign agent.
These types of violations are usually handled as civil matters where the accused is warned to register, but ever since Donald Trump won the 2016 election, Deep State prosecutors used this little-used statute to jail Trump’s associates.
A clue as to the real reason the feds raided Giuliani’s home appeared in a statement from Giuliani’s attorney that federal agents seized electronic devices containing privileged communications between Giuliani and his client Donald Trump.
“The electronics taken are, also, replete with the material covered by the attorney-client privilege and other constitutional privileges. The warrant served on Mr. Giuliani’s law office is another disturbing example of complete disregard for the attorney-client privilege protected by the Sixth Amendment to the Constitution,” Giuliani’s attorney Robert Costello declared.
The New York Times’ reporting hinted that the real motive for the search was to pierce attorney-client privilege.
“In particular, the federal authorities were expected to scour the electronic devices for communications between Mr. Giuliani and Trump administration officials about the ambassador before she was recalled in April 2019, one of the people added,” the Times reported.
In the Times’ story, reporters explained that investigators were digging around for evidence that Giuliani lobbied Trump to get rid of Yovanovitch on behalf of Ukrainian officials in exchange for information about Joe and Hunter Biden’s corruption in Ukraine.
“The warrant also sought his communications with Ukrainian officials who had butted heads with Ms. Yovanovitch, including some of the same people who at the time were helping Mr. Giuliani seek damaging information about President Biden, who was then a candidate, and his family, the people said,” the Times also reported.
Trump and his supporters believe this investigation bears all the hallmarks of a political hit job.
And just like the Russian collusion hoax where the FBI investigated campaign officials with the real goal of framing Donald Trump for being a Russian agent, the true intent of this investigation appears to be Donald Trump with the endgame of preventing him from mounting a comeback bid for the White House in 2024.
