And Donald Trump won a huge legal battle that could end with this Trump hater in jail.
A federal appeals court upheld a lower court ruling ordering former porn star Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump $300,000 in legal fees and costs following her failed attempt to sue Trump for defamation.
Daniels issued a defiant statement on social media vowing to go to jail before paying Trump any money.

Following the ruling Trump crowed about the victory repeating his denial that he ever had an affair with Daniels.
“As I have stated many times throughout the years, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to. The ruling was a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me,” Trump’s statement read.
Trump blasted Daniels and her former lawyer – the disgraced Michael Avenatti – and boasted that he could not wait for Daniels’ money to arrive.
“The lawsuit was a purely political stunt that never should have been started, or allowed to happen, and I am pleased that my lawyers were able to bring it to a successful conclusion after the court fully rejected her appeal. Now all I have to do is wait for all of the money she owes me,” Trump’s statement continued.
Trump predicted that the fake news media would not nearly give this win the attention the press gave Daniels’ initial claims of an affair and alleged hush money payments which many in the corporate press predicted would bring down Trump’s presidency.
“P.S. The Fake News probably won’t report this story!” Trump’s statement concluded.
Daniels tried to dodge the fact that she lost the case blaming the matter on Avenatti.
“Trump won yesterday ON A TECHNICALITY due to Avenatti’s failure to file promptly. That technical ruling, although distressing, does not reflect on anything I have done or my credibility but is the result of negligence of a criminal lawyer, Michael Avenatti,” Daniels wrote in a response to Trump’s statement.
When Daniels came forward with her allegations that Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 in alleged hush money in October 2016 the press acted like Trump was on the verge of being indicted any day.
But much like the Russian collusion hoax, the Stormy Daniels story fizzled out.
And now Donald Trump emerges as the ultimate victor as Daniels owes Trump $300,000 in legal fees and costs.
