Though it has undoubtedly caught most conservatives by surprise, Elizabeth Warren has captured the world’s attention as she rises in the ranks as one of the most popular Democrat candidates.
It’s shocking because she’s been caught in some significant lies, including the revelation that she tried to pass herself off as a Native American when she only 1/1024th one.
All that said, Elizabeth Warren could be finished forever now that this massive lie was exposed…
As Warren travels across the nation, speaking to hundreds (not thousands) of people, she’s wont to do what Warren is wont to do.
She plays the part of the victim as often as she plays the role of an over-privileged white woman.
Dancing that line has to be hard, and keeping track of all the lies has to be hard too.
Sadly for Warren, and happily for the millions of people who don’t want her to become President, the jig is up as Warren was caught lying about being fired from a job for being pregnant when the opposite was true.
One of Warren’s favorite stories to tell about the oppression she’s suffered at the hands of bullying white men is how in 1971, a school fired her after her first year of teaching.
According to her, the fact she was “visibly pregnant” was used as grounds for termination.
Warren claims this moment was a pivotal moment in her career and is what eventually led her to attend Harvard and then finally get into politics.
But an investigative team at FOX News unearthed something major that could cause things to unravel quickly for Warren and may send her careening down the polls.
According to them, back in 2007, Warren was interviewed about her position as a first-year teacher and offered a very different take on her termination. In the interview, she claims the reason she left the field wasn’t that she was fired, but because “the education courses that she needed to take weren’t working out for her.”
A direct quote from the 2007 interview pokes a massive hole in the pregnancy story she’s touted on the campaign trail.
“I went back to graduate school and took a couple of courses in education and said, ‘I don’t think this is going to work out for me.’ I was pregnant with my first baby, so I had a baby and stayed home for a couple of years and I was really casting about, thinking, ‘What am I going to do?'” she said.
Perhaps more damning is that another team of reporters at the Washington Free Beacon did some research also and exposed county records that show the school never fired her… in fact, they offered to hire her on for a second year and offered her a contract almost identical to the one she’d received as a first-year teacher.
While this lie is a far cry from the one she told about being a true-born Native American, the truth is it may be enough to take the air out of her sails and allow another candidate to overtake her.
The Democrat race is tight, and competitors will gladly take any dirt they can to destroy their opponents.
In this case, Warren’s dirt may be enough to bury her.
