Eric Holder was the most corrupt Attorney General of all time.
The self-described “wingman” for Obama constantly found himself involved in scandals.
And he just said four words to declare all-out war on William Barr.
William Barr is working to bring down the deep state.
To do so, he is investigating all of their wrongdoings in a way that nobody else has been brave enough to do.
He has U.S. Attorney John Durham investigating the origins of the Russia investigation, looking back into as early as the summer of 2016.
And as it turns out, former Attorney General Eric Holder isn’t too happy about this.
Holder claims that Barr is “paying a price,” and threatening his credibility by having Durham lead this investigation.
“The whole thing that the attorney general is involved in is highly unusual,” Holder said. “Ordering an investigation of our intelligence and law enforcement agencies when there was already an investigation underway by the inspector general.”
“And then to see how the president is now involved to help the attorney general in that effort gives me pause. I think the attorney general needs to be a little more sensitive to the appearance that that gives. You have to not only be substantively neutral — you have to appear to be neutral when you are the attorney general of the United States. And I fear that he has crossed a political line.”
Holder neglects to mention that what happened going into the 2016 election was “highly unusual.”
Not only was it highly unusual, but it was an unprecedented attempt to overthrow an elected government.
It wasn’t a case of the Justice Department looking into claims of collusion with the Russian government.
They were actively looking for evidence of collusion in order to harm then-candidate Trump, using research compiled by a group operating with funds from his political opponent.
Fusion GPS, which was receiving funds from Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee, was working with a former British Spy to compile opposition research against Trump.
And from there, they had Fusion GPS employee Nellie Ohr pass the information on to her husband Bruce Ohr, who works within the Justice Department.
And it ultimately led to the formation of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia collusion, with help from officials at the highest levels of Obama’s Justice Department.
It is a disservice to the American people not to get the full picture of what went into the formation of Mueller’s investigation.
For two years, Americans were more divided than they ever have been entirely because of that investigation.
Half the country was convinced that the sitting U.S. President was illegitimate, and a Russian asset.
Eric Holder likely understands this and is simply trying to dissuade Barr from continuing on.
Holder is an Obama lackey, who understands just what an investigation of this magnitude could do to his friends who were in the Justice Department at the time.
Do you think William Barr should continue his investigation?
