ESPN used to be the worldwide leader in sports.
But now ESPN can’t stick to sports and operates like a woke, pro-Democrat Party super PAC.
And this ESPN host went after Tucker Carlson for one reason that will make your blood boil.
“First Take” host Stephen A. Smith — known as “Screamin’ A. Smith” for his boisterous persona — is one of the highest-paid on-air talents at ESPN.
When ESPN isn’t dabbling in woke identity politics or televising games the debate show format Smith pioneered on “First Take” now dominates the network.
In an interview with Mediaite’s The Interview podcast Smith attacked Tucker Carlson for playing unseen security camera footage from the Capitol on January 6 that obliterated the narrative Democrats and the corporate media forced upon Americans.
Virtually no one in Washington, Republican or Democrat, wanted to see this tape released tonight. pic.twitter.com/YfpvaIZTbn

Smith ranted that Carlson playing the footage — and Smith as a member of the media should theoretically embrace transparency and showing video the government wanted to keep hidden — was somehow misleading the public.
“It pissed me off,” Smith fumed. “Like I said, it did. And I’m not apologizing because to me, we can say it’s politics. Five people were killed. Thousands of people stormed the U.S. Capitol.”
What Smith did not mention was the only people killed on January 6 were Trump supporters.
Smith also raged that Carlson told the truth about January 6 about how not everyone engaged in violence and that the media lied to the people about how Trump supporters staged an insurrection to overthrow the government.
The video also cut the media narrative Smith parroted by showing Trump supporters entering the Capitol through doors police officers held open.
“For Tucker Carlson to go on national TV and highlight how everyone wasn’t violent. The fact of the matter is, they followed the people in. They got in because the violent protesters kicked in windows, kicked down doors, bum-rushed through law enforcement officials … It’s an insult to our intelligence to say not everyone was violent,” Smith added. “When Tucker Carlson points something like that out, it’s like, you are smart enough to know that’s bulls— that you’re spewing. You know better than that.”
ESPN bled subscribers over the last several years.
A large part of that is the trend towards cord-cutting where Americans get rid of cable and move to streaming platforms.
But ESPN is also losing subscribers because once Donald Trump won in 2016 the network allowed anti-Trump on-air talent like Smith to beat the audience over the head with their woke politics.
