Jen Psaki and Joe Biden thought they could get away with it.
They thought wrong.
And Fox News crushed Jen Psaki with a reality check that ambushed Democrats.
At a recent White House press briefing, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy pressed Jen Psaki for answers about what Joe Biden was doing to get answers from Communist China about the origins of the coronavirus.
“Why isn’t President Biden pushing for more access, more information to get to the bottom of what happened?” Doocy asked Psaki.
Psaki responded by falsely claiming that the Biden administration was holding Communist Chinese feet to the fire over an investigation into if the coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“We are,” Psaki shot back. “And we have repeatedly called for the WHO to support an expert-driven evaluation of the pandemic’s origins that is free from interference or politicization.”
The administration is still counting on the hopelessly corrupt and compromised World Health Organization to investigate the origin story of the coronavirus.
In reality, the World Health Organization already produced a laughable investigation that sought to dismiss the idea of the coronavirus outbreak beginning with a lab leak.
Psaki tried to claim this whitewashing report was just “phase one” of a real effort to get answers from Communist China about the circumstances surrounding the origin of the coronavirus.
“There were phase I results that came through,” Psaki continued. “We were not — during that first phase of the investigation, there was not access to data, there was not information provided. Now we’re hopeful that WHO can move into a more transparent, independent, phase II investigation.”
Doocy did not let Psaki off the hook and demanded to know why Joe Biden did not support an American-led investigation into the lab leak theory.
“With 589,920 dead Americans, at what point does President Biden say we don’t want to wait for the WHO? We don’t know what we’re doing. This needs to be an American-led effort to get to the bottom of what happened,” Doocy asked.
Psaki again hid behind the World Health Organization.
“I think you’re misunderstanding how this process actually works,” Psaki added. “An international investigation led by the World Health Organization is something that we’ve actually been pressing for several months.”
Psaki tried to downplay the lab leak theory—and let the Communist Chinese off the hook for the biggest mass casualty event in human history—by admitting that Joe Biden had no plan to launch an American-led investigation into if the coronavirus escaped into the world from a lab accident in Communist China.
“What we can’t do … is leap ahead of an actual international process. We don’t have enough information and data to draw a conclusion at this point in time,” Psaki concluded.
The lab leak theory gained steam after The Wall Street Journal reported that three workers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology entered the hospital in November 2019 to treat a severe respiratory illness.
All the evidence points to the fact that a lab accident in Wuhan spurred on the coronavirus pandemic.
The lab performed gain-of-function research on coronaviruses and was known for lax security.
To this day no one has identified the viral transmission chain from animal to human one would expect to find in a naturally occurring outbreak.
The only question left is why Joe Biden is leveraging every tool at his disposal to fully investigate if a lab leak in Communist China was the true cause of the coronavirus pandemic.
