Joe Biden’s political troubles grow on a daily basis.
Now Biden is facing major questions about a part of his life he never wanted the public to know about.
And Fox News revealed something about Joe Biden’s past that turned into an ugly scandal.
The crisis at the southern border dominated the political news cycle.
Biden’s approval ratings plummeted as Americans blamed Biden for throwing open the border to nearly 1.5 million illegal aliens in 2021, including 15,000 stationed under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas squatting in a shanty town.
The border descended into crisis from day one of the administration.
During the campaign Biden signaled to illegal aliens if he won, Biden would throw the border wide open.
Biden made good on that promise enacting a 100 day pause on virtually all deportations.
Even though a judge eventually struck that order down, it came too late as illegal aliens began charging the border in numbers not seen in two decades.
Joe Biden’s refusal – many say this is intention – came to the forefront when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy questioned Jen Psaki about if Joe Biden ever traveled to the southern border in his 46 years as an elected official.
“Has President Biden ever been to the southern border?” Doocy pressed.
Psaki was not expecting this question and did not know how to answer.
“In his life?” Psaki stammered. “I will have to look back in my history books and check the times he’s been to the southern border.”
Doocy quickly shot back that Fox researched Biden’s career and could not find one instance of Biden traveling to the southern border.
“We have looked all morning and we can’t find any record of him as president, vice president, senator, or even as a concerned citizen,” Doocy continued. “Why would that be?”
Psaki then claimed the crisis at the border was a result of a “broken system.”
“First of all, Peter, I think the situation at the border is the result of a broken system,” Psaki responded.
This answer opened Biden up for more criticism because skeptical Americans point out the fact that Biden was in a position for 45 years in the Senate and vice presidency under Barack Obama to fix the system and failed.
Critics also note that Biden is the one in charge now and instead of securing the border Biden tried to rollback Trump’s immigration policies such as the “Remain in Mexico” protocols.
Psaki once again tried to shift the blame to President Trump falsely claiming Trump’s zero tolerance policy is why Biden can’t secure the border.
“He uses all of his experiences to inform how he governs, how he approaches challenges, and certainly he looks again at the last four years and the separation of children who were ripped from the arms of their parents as a way he does not want to proceed,” Psaki added.
The border is clearly a mess.
And polls show Americans believe it is a mess of Joe Biden’s own making.
Fox News and Peter Doocy pointed out that Biden never made the border a priority by virtue of the fact that Biden never once visited in 46 years as an elected official.
Critics contend that explains why Biden doesn’t care that record numbers of illegal aliens flooded into the country in his first eight months in office.
