The changes at Fox News continue to disturb President Trump and his supporters.
But now all hell is breaking loose.
And Fox News viewers changed the channel after what this host said about voter fraud.
President Trump delivered what he deemed his most important speech ever where he laid out his case for voter fraud in the 2020 election and cited suspicious, middle of the night vote dumps in Wisconsin, Georgia and Michigan as evidence of Democrat-led chicanery.
Fox News Channel host Eric Shawn followed up the President’s powerful speech by smearing Donald Trump as a liar.
“You just heard the president say it. He brands it ‘massive dump of votes.’ But election officials say it is not what he implies. They say there’s no nefarious big batch for Biden, just votes they insist are being counted properly as the law requires,” Shawn began.
Shawn sounded like he was auditioning for a job at fake news CNN as opposed to delivering the news on a channel that prides itself on “fair and balanced” news where “we report and you decide.”
As Shawn continued his rant, he attacked the idea that mysterious vote spikes that happened when officials in Georgia claimed they were stopping counting votes for the night were perfectly normal.
“Officials say those spikes are not fraud, simply the way a large number of mail-in votes are entered into the computer in big batches. In fact, one Pennsylvania election official tells me ‘The ballots are opened and scanned and then uploaded, tens of thousands at a time. It would cause what looks like a spike, but if you have been countering them for many hours before that, they are aggregating uploads from various counties. It’s like saying if we uploaded 75,000 ballots in five minutes, we counted in five minutes. That’s not true. We’d been counting them for hours,” Shawn added.
Shawn then claimed that the election officials and “experts”—that supervised and certified the alleged fraud—claimed everything was on the up and up so the President and his supporters that raised legitimate questions about the vote were kooky conspiracy theorists.
“Election experts also point out that none of the tens of thousands of officials and election workers across the country who did work on this election — none of them have reported any massive fraud or anything with these spikes,” Shawn added.
Commentary like this—where anchors adopt liberal media talking points—are why Fox News is losing viewers, and competitors like One America News and Newsmax are growing their audience.
Fox News Channel’s new slogan is “standing for what’s right.”
Viewers are wondering how that applies when anchors are falsely claiming there is no evidence of voter fraud.
