With Trump’s wins continuing to come in, George Soros has had a very bad few years.
2018, in particular, was horrible for the left-wing billionaire with many of his candidates getting destroyed by pro-Trump Republicans.
And his biggest loss of 2018 just got even worse after news dropped that Trump is going to love.
2018 was supposed to be the year where anti-Trump leftists would strike back.
George Soros opened his deep pockets, spending millions to ensure Democrats would sweep massive victories to take back the House and Senate.
But Republicans actually gained seats in the Senate, while Democrats were only able to gain a slight majority in the House.
Soros also had massive losses at the state level.
Florida especially brought him the worst loss of all in 2018.
Soros went all-in behind Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum running against Ron DeSantis for Governor.
In all, Soros dropped over $600,000 in support of Gillum and even more through dark money groups.
But DeSantis, who is a strong Trump ally, was able to win over Gillum.
And since taking office, he has made countless bold stands on issues that are near and dear to President Trump’s heart.
Among them is his support for banning sanctuary cities.
His latest victory comes with a bill allowing teachers to carry guns in schools.
DeSantis signed the bill into law in a move that is sure to anger Democrats nationwide.
But it will especially anger Soros who is one of the biggest donors of gun control organizations.
Ron DeSantis is actually following through on his promises, which is rare for a politician.
Starting as a Congressman, he has long been a supporter of President Trump.
Throughout his campaign for Governor, the left was targeting him harder than perhaps any other candidate in the rest of the country.
With Soros dropping over $600,000 and countless other left-wing groups hopping into the fight, DeSantis was called every name in the book.
Gillum even tried to claim DeSantis was racist for stating that Florida shouldn’t “monkey things up” by embracing socialist policies.
But, much like during Donald Trump’s campaign, the people began seeing through the lies of the media.
DeSantis is a lot like Trump in the way he was able to win despite intense media smears and assaults.
Some even hope DeSantis will run for President one day.
In fact, Ann Coulter recently tweeted her hopes of DeSantis becoming President.
