George Soros’ plan to remake America took a major hit.
Americans can breathe a sigh of relief.
And that’s because George Soros got hit with some bad news that he is going to hate.
George Soros sought to undermine law and order and destroy the institution of police by installing radical left-wing prosecutors in key offices across the country.
St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner received Soros’ financial largesse in her campaigns and in election.
In office Gardner set about implementing Soros’ soft-on-crime agenda by turning criminals loose.
New Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey was not about to let Gardner turn St. Louis into another Soros-inspired crime-ridden hellscape.
Attorney General Andrew Bailey issued a release explaining that Gardner had until February 22 to resign or else he would remove her from office.
“As Attorney General, I want to protect the people of St. Louis, and that includes protecting victims of crime and finding justice for them,” Attorney General Bailey’s statement read. “Instead of protecting victims, Circuit Attorney Gardner is creating them. My office will do everything in its power to restore order, and eliminate the chaos in St. Louis caused by Kim Gardner’s neglect of her office.”
Attorney General Bailey cited a case where Gardner allowed a dangerous repeat offender out on the streets on bail who racked over 100 bond violations across a two-year period.
Instead of sitting in jail awaiting his day in court the offender ran over a high school volleyball player costing her both of her legs.
The release read:
On February 18, 2023, Janae Edmonson, a teenage athlete, was walking back to her hotel in downtown St. Louis after a volleyball tournament when she was run down by a speeding vehicle and lost both of her legs. One was severed, and the other maimed. Ms. Edmonson survived the crash due to her father’s quick action and emergency medical training, but both of her legs were amputated.
The driver of the speeding vehicle, Daniel Riley, should never have been in that car. He is a dangerous gunman who should have been in jail. In 2020, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office charged Riley with First Degree Robbery and Armed Criminal Action for stealing a firearm from a victim at gunpoint. The Circuit Attorney dismissed and refiled that case on July 18, 2022, but not before Riley- who was out on bond- earned 54 separate violations for failing to comply with the pre-trial bond conditions. After the Circuit Attorney refiled the case, Riley earned 50 more violations. The Circuit Attorney never filed a motion to revoke Riley’s bond.
Attorney General Bailey announced he initiated a “quo warranto” proceeding to remove Gardner which now requires Gardner to show what authority she has to hold office.
Bailey lambasted the Soros-backed Gardner over the fact that her office has a 3,000-case backlog due a refusal to enforce the law.
“Instead of protecting victims, Circuit Attorney Gardner is creating them,” Attorney General Bailey declared. “This is the latest in a long pattern of brazen neglect. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney has a long history of failure to prosecute violent crime, with a backlog of at least 3,000 cases.”
Americans are fed up with rising crime rates in the nation’s biggest cities.
The decline in quality of life is directly tied to Soros-funded prosecutors like Kim Gardner who pursued an ideologically motivated crusade to stop enforcing the law.
And red state officials like Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey are determined to use any means at their disposal to stop George Soros’ assault on law and order.
