James Comey Drops A Bombshell About Mueller Probe
The St. Louis NPR station interviewed former FBI Director James Comey.
The conversation turned toward former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s guilty plea.
The press painted it as a big win for Mueller.
That’s because Manafort agreed to work with Mueller and his team.
Anti-Trump journalists took this as a sign that Mueller believed Manafort held the smoking gun to bring down Donald Trump.
But that may not be the case.
Comey revealed that Mueller’s investigation is “in the fourth quarter.”
“The way you normally do investigations is you work from the bottom up, and so they’re getting pretty high,” he said.
Comey tried to walk that back.
He claimed no one knew how close Mueller was to finishing his work.
“But again, the reason I’m hesitant to even say that is [because] Bob Mueller’s conducted his investigation like a pro – you know nothing about it except through his public filings, and that’s the way it’s supposed to be. And so I can’t say with certainty where he is,” Comey stated.
However, Comey again said it looked like Mueller was about to wrap up.
He said, “that the conviction — the plea and cooperation by Paul Manafort – may represent that we’re in the fourth quarter.”
What This Means For Trump
When Manafort pleaded guilty, the media began to buzz.
But his defense team shot down rumors that Manafort would spill the beans on Russian collusion.
Politico reported:
However, shortly after the plea hearing Friday, a source close to the defense told POLITICO: “The cooperation agreement does not involve the Trump campaign. … There was no collusion with Russia.”
Manafort holds no damaging information on Trump or the campaign.
James Comey knows this.
He ran the Russia probe for nearly one year.
What Comey Is Really Doing
Critics believe Comey has another goal in mind.
He is trying to soften the blow the resistance will feel when Mueller completes his work.
Lisa Page testified that the FBI found no evidence of Russian collusion before Trump fired Comey.
And Mueller produced none himself.
Anti-Trump journalists claim Mueller has not revealed all that he knows.
However, Mueller did not charge anyone with conspiracy of working with Russia.
But that hasn’t stopped liberal outlets like CNN and MSNBC from creating a craze around the Russian collusion hoax.
They reported so much fake news surrounding this case.
Their viewers believe Trump is doomed.
Democrats put all their hopes of getting rid of Trump in Mueller.
There is no telling the level of lunacy they will unleash when Mueller releases a report detailing how he found no evidence of collusion.
Comey could be working to prevent riots in the streets.
