James Mattis honored the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
But he also used that day to send a message.
And he said four words that sent America’s enemies running for their lives.
James Mattis Speaks On 9/11
James Mattis honored the innocent Americans and heroes who died on 9/11.
He also delivered a message to radical Islamic terrorists.
Mattis stated, “Americans do not scare.”
Bin Laden and his gang of thugs hoped to frighten Americans on 9/11.
He believed that if he could scare Americans, he could force the country’s leaders to retreat from defending freedom.
Bin Laden failed.
Mattis described the American spirit in his remarks.
He stated that Americans would not retreat in the face of terrorism.
Instead, America’s military would bring the ultimate justice to the terrorists who struck on 9/11.
“Many of those countries represented by the foreign dignitaries who join us here today. We remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who fell here in America and then on far-flung battlefields,” Mattis stated.
He continued, “We salute the soldiers, sailors, airmen, courts guard and Marines as they gave their last full measure of devotion declaring proudly that Americans do not scare.”
“We followed to the end of the Earth those who sought to break our spirit,” Mattis declared.
He concluded, “Together with the families of the fallen, we remember all that is good, all that is true, and all that is beautiful about those we have lost. And if we remember them, if we honor them by living as they would have us live.”
Trump’s Enemies Strike at Mattis
Mattis’ remarks proved that he is one of Trump’s most effective cabinet secretaries.
That’s why the Deep State is targeting him.
But instead of coming at Mattis head-on, their plan is much more sinister.
Rogue agents inside the White House leaked damaging stories about what Mattis had allegedly thought of Trump to reporter Bob Woodward.
His new book, “Fear,” describes how Mattis often mocks Trump’s intellect.
Woodward claims Mattis said Trump had a “fifth or sixth grader’s” understanding of the world.
Their goal was to bait Trump into firing Mattis.
They believed Trump’s ego would not allow him to work with Mattis once he knew what Mattis really thought about him.
Their plan failed.
Mattis denied ever making those comments.
The media has run so much fake news about Trump that no one believes anything they say.
Trump supporters said this effort was to undermine Trump by driving a wedge between him and his top advisors.
Woodward’s book, as well as the anonymous New York Times op-ed, paints the picture that it’s the “adults” in the room who are keeping the country from falling into disaster.
Anti-Trump forces think if Trump fires Mattis, then Congress will have no choice but to impeach the President.
But Mattis’ remarks at the 9/11 Memorial served as just another reason why Trump supporters like him.
