Fox News has lost their way, and is no longer the “fair and balanced” outlet they once were.
With the impeachment hearings heating up, Fox News is proving that fact.
And jaws hit the floor when Fox News made their latest claim about impeachment.
While there are a few hosts on Fox News who are fair to President Trump, the vast majority of them are firmly against Trump, and aren’t afraid to show it.
The most disappointing of those figures is Fox News Judicial Analyst Andrew Napolitano.
Napolitano was a major supporter of Trump for much of his presidency.
But after reports alleged that Trump denied Napolitano the position of Supreme Court Justice, Napolitano quickly began attacking Trump.
And with the impeachment hearings in full effect, he has become their loudest voice in support of Adam Schiff’s hearings.
Most recently he cited testimony from U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland to claim that Democrats have a case to impeach Trump.
Of course, the media claims that Sondland proves that a “quid pro quo” between Trump and Ukraine occurred.
But Sondland also directly states that Trump said he wanted no quid pro quo, contradicting himself.
Despite this, Napolitano lauded his testimony.
Napolitano said, “I think the Democrats do still have a case. One would expect the president, in September, after the whistleblower’s allegations came out, after the president was accused of a quid pro quo, to say ‘no quid pro quo.’ Here we go with the Latin again. But it is clear from what Ambassador Sondland testified yesterday that there was an understanding that the president wanted some things from the Ukrainians.”
The last claim from Napolitano proves just how much he hates Trump at this point.
He doesn’t realize that the entire point of foreign policy is wanting “some things” from other nations.
In the case of Ukraine, the new president ran on a platform of fighting corruption, which Ukraine had been a hotbed for under their previous leadership.
That’s not the allegations that Trump is facing.
Democrats are alleging that he was withholding aid to force an investigation into Joe Biden.
But the call between Trump and Ukrainian officials clearly shows that there was no such attempt to withhold funds over Biden.
Napolitano is making straw man arguments to prove points that aren’t even relevant to the impeachment hearings.
But while Napolitano is doing this, Fox News host Tucker Carlson is exposing the truth.
Carlson is one of the few to question Sondland’s loyalty in this case.
Sondland was born in Ukraine, spent Election Day in 2016 in Ukraine, and was offered the position of Defense Minister in Ukraine shortly after that.
All of these facts together should be concerning when considering his character and loyalty.
And they are questions that everybody should be asking, but that only Tucker Carlson is willing to bring up.
