He did not want the American people to know about this.
But now they do.
Joe Biden carries this terrifying secret for the future of America.
One part of Joe Biden’s campaign points is his emphasis on clean energy and reducing emissions.
Liberals have long hyped up a so-called “climate crisis” to create a misplaced sense of fear in the hearts of Americans that unless they elect Democrats, the planet will die.
Democrats then pivot and say the solution to the so-called “climate crisis” is the same as every other problem America faces: A socialist economic framework, higher taxes, job-killing regulations and the destruction of American industry that employs working-class Americans that vote Republican.
In his plan to save the planet – which is really a trojan horse for socialism – Joe Biden proposes to eliminate fracking, “transition from the oil industry,” and achieve “zero emissions” – by 2035.
Specifically, his plan will have an astronomical impact on the oil and gas industry as a whole.
This plan would mean the destruction of thousands upon thousands of jobs in Michigan, directly impacting the American people.
A 2017 study conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and commissioned by the American Petroleum Institute found that the oil and natural gas industry supports over 159,000 jobs in Michigan alone.
Sen. Kevin Cramer told Breitbart News that “The supply chain for energy in this country exists in all 50 states. Michigan is a major equipment and infrastructure state in support of the energy industry.”
Another study found that Michigan’s energy sector collectively generates over $8.2 billion in wages and contributes over $14.6 billion to just the state’s economy.
The Mackinac Center for Public Policy reports that “Michigan is number one in the nation for natural gas storage capacity, with 1.1 trillion cubic feet of underground storage — over a tenth of overall U.S. capacity.”
All this to say that if Biden’s new green plan goes forward, this industry will be decimated.
Petroleum engineers, environmental experts, rig hands, truck drivers, caterers, contractors and so many more will lose their jobs and Michigan’s economy will be plunged into turmoil.
Since most Michigan homes rely on natural gas, phasing it out would drastically increase heating costs which would be cruel given the severity of Michigan winters.
Unfortunately, it does not appear that the massive amount of new technology needed to rely solely on green energy is available to the US just yet.
This would be another repeat of California.
They recently adopted a “clean energy only” model and have suffered major problems because of it.
Natural gas can be stored and distributed when needed.
Clean energy is entirely reliant on the weather; how much wind, sunshine, etc. there is.
Thus, the push to clean energy sources only would leave Michigan high and dry in bad weather.
All in all, it is important to keep discovering solutions to eventually transition to clean energy.
It is important to protect the planet and do what we can to curb pollution in all forms.
However, to implement “clean energy only” in the states is not feasible or safe.
It is too unreliable and unsafe at the moment and would cause widespread damage if put into effect immediately.
Unfortunately, it does not appear that Joe Biden understands or cares about those facts.
