Joe Biden had no idea what he was in for.
Biden thought he could get away with starting another culture war.
But Joe Biden crossed a line that left one top Democrat having to do the unthinkable.
One of the keys to Joe Biden’s political strategy was avoiding the divisive culture war issues.
Instead Biden let his enforcers in the fake news media, corporate America and Big Tech drop the hammer on conservatives to try and destroy the right’s way of life.
But Biden abandoned that strategy in an interview with ESPN’s Sage Steele where Biden lied about the new election integrity bill in Georgia and called on Major League Baseball to move the 2021 All-Star Game out of Atlanta.
“Look at what’s happened across the board. The very people who are victimized the most are the people who are the leaders in these various sports,” Biden told Steele. “I would strongly support them doing that. People look to them. They’re leaders.”
Biden’s call for an economic boycott ran afoul of Stacey Abrams—who many believe is the real power in the Democrat Party.
Abrams is a socialist, and also a woke, identity politics warrior that organized a mail-in-voting program that put Democrats over the top in Georgia in the presidential election and the two January Senate runoffs.
Stacey Abrams wants to run for governor again in 2022 after spending four years pretending she won the 2018 gubernatorial election where Republican Brian Kemp clearly defeated her.
Abrams being the face of an economic boycott of Georgia would not play well with swing voters so Abrams begged athletes and corporate America to forgo boycotts of a law that Abrams falsely claimed was Jim Crow 2.0.
“I understand the passion of those calling for boycotts of Georgia following the passage of SB 202. Boycotts have been an important tool throughout our history to achieve social change. But here’s the thing. Black, Latino, AAPI, and Native American voters whose votes are the most suppressed under SB 202 are also the most likely to be hurt by potential boycotts of Georgia. To our friends across the country, please do not boycott us,” Abrams pleaded.
Georgia Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock—who is also up for re-election in 2022—rejected economic boycotts of the Peach State.
“It is my hope that businesses, athletes, and entertainers can protest this law not by leaving Georgia but by coming here and fighting voter suppression head on, and hand-in-hand with the community. Additionally, the urgency to pass federal voter protection laws grows every day, and I will continue to be a leader in that fight,” Warnock wrote in a statement.
Democrats are now using corporate America to try and bully Republicans into accepting the liberal agenda.
The left believes that the economic might of America’s biggest corporations should hold veto power of the people’s elected representatives.
And that’s what happened in Georgia after Major League Baseball followed Biden’s lead and moved the All-Star Game out of Georgia.
The worst part was baseball was influenced by lies.
Biden repeatedly falsely claimed the Georgia bill made it a criminal offense to hand out food and water to voters in line and cut off voting hours at 5 p.m.
The legislation expanded early, in-person voting to 17 days, allowed counties the ability to expand the hours polls were open until 7p.m. during early voting and allowed poll workers to provide food and water to voters.
Now Biden created a mess for Abrams and Warnock by triggering a massive culture war battle that puts Democrats back on their heels in a key swing state.
