Joe Biden made it clear his goal was jailing Donald Trump.
That plan moved forward after the midterm elections.
And Joe Biden got an update on indicting Trump that had all hell breaking loose.
Attorney General Merrick Garland waited until after Donald Trump announced his intention to run for re-election to appoint anti-Republican prosecutor Jack Smith as special counsel.
Smith set about investigating Trump in the witch hunts over January 6 and the Mar-a-Lago document raid.
But Smith and Garland’s plans to thwart Trump’s 2024 campaign with criminal prosecution went up in flames after Biden’s lawyers revealed Biden stole classified documents and hid them for six years.
Biden stashed classified documents in a think tank bought and paid for by Communist China and in a Delaware home that records show is owned by Hunter Biden.
Even Trump haters realized Biden stealing classified documents rendered it impossible for Garland to press forward with an indictment against Trump over keeping documents at Mar-a-Lago.
Never Trump CNN commentator and fake Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said on “The View” that Biden put Garland in an impossible position.
“I want to be clear the facts are different than the Trump case, however I think this is a huge win for Trump,” Farah Griffin stated. “Because if you’re Merrick Garland, who is already extremely cautious and doesn’t want to break the longstanding precedent of not indicting a president, it’s very hard to make the case that Donald Trump should be indicted for this.”
Farah Griffin went so far as to say Biden killed the case.
“Even though the facts are different, when he can argue: ‘Well, now the vice president also took home classified documents.’ I think this kills the case,” Farah Griffin concluded.
Biden’s plan to indict Trump took another hit when Attorney General Garland appointed U.S. Attorney from Maryland Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate Biden for stealing classified documents.
“Earlier today, I signed an order appointing Robert Hur as special counsel for the matter I have just described,” Garland announced. “The document authorizes him to investigate whether any person or entity violated the law in connection with this matter. The special counsel will not be subject to the day-to-day supervision of any official of the department, but he must comply with the regulations, procedures, and policies of the department.”
There is little chance that Garland appointed a prosecutor as special counsel that Garland thinks will bring criminal charges against Joe Biden.
However, if Garland gives Biden a pass it will make it impossible to indict Donald Trump.
And that foiled Joe Biden’s plan A to stop Trump from running for re-election.
