The American people were stunned.
This was not what they expected when Joe Biden took office.
Joe Biden hit Americans with an ultimatum that had all hell breaking loose.
Joe Biden’s administration was drowning under a deluge of crises.
Gas spiked to seven dollars a gallon in Virginia as the Southeast experienced massive shortages following the Colonial Pipeline shutdown.
The April jobs report missed by 750,000 jobs because Joe Biden’s enhanced unemployment benefits paid Americans more money to stay at home and collect government checks rather than go to work.
In April, the Border Patrol intercepted 178,000 illegal aliens attempting to enter America, the largest number of attempted illegal border crossings in 20 years.
Inflation is also a runaway train as the prices skyrocketed at the largest rate since 2008.
And to top it all off, Hamas launched a series of rocket attacks on Israel following Joe Biden funneling the terrorist group over 200 million dollars in taxpayer funding.
With all of these crises piling up and inflicting political damage on Joe Biden, the administration pulled the trigger on their one in the hole.
Joe Biden stood before the public and essentially declared COVID over by announcing new CDC guidelines that recommended vaccinated people not wear masks or socially distance.
Democrat governors in Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Minnesota and Washington quickly followed suit and dropped all mask mandates and social distancing requirements.
But Joe Biden was not content to leave well enough alone.
Instead, Biden’s handlers posted on social media a message from Biden threatening Americans that if they did not submit to taking the coronavirus vaccine they would wear masks until they gave in.
“After a year of hard work and so much sacrifice, the rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do,” Biden wrote on social media.
There is no such rule that Americans must choose either taking the vaccination or surrender to permanent masking.
And Joe Biden is not a dictator.
Biden possesses no authority under Article Two of the Constitution to decree that Americans must wear masks or accept the coronavirus vaccine.
Americans could not understand why Biden would ruin a day where the vaccines created by Donald Trump’s Operation Warp Speed essentially ended the pandemic to step on that message with a Stalinist edict about Americans surrendering to a mask or vaccine regime.
Critics contend Biden was virtue signaling to his base of COVID hysteric “Karens” by issuing this tyrannical—but toothless—edict that Americans choose between a mask and a vaccine.
But the CDC director even admitted that vaccinated Americans are protected and don’t need to worry about being around unvaccinated Americans.
Even on the day when the pandemic basically ended, Joe Biden could not quit the mask theater.
