Joe Biden humiliated himself with one insane challenge to Donald Trump.
Joe Biden’s proposed trillions in socialist welfare spending could collapse if Democrat Terry McAuliffe loses the Virginia gubernatorial election.
Virginia is a solid blue state where Democrats won 13 straight statewide elections but Joe Biden’s runaway inflation, the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and endless COVID mandates dragged Biden’s approval rating underwater both nationally and in Virginia.
McAuliffe also sabotaged his own campaign by declaring in a debate that parents have no role in the lessons their children learn in school.
In a matter of weeks, McAuliffe’s lead evaporated as Youngkin hammered McAuliffe on supporting racist critical race theory in schools and for a Loudoun County School Board covering up a biological male wearing a skirt raping a 14-year-old girl in a school bathroom because it would have ruined their plans to impose a pro-transgender scheme on the school.
With just days left in the campaign McAuliffe admitted how desperate he was by calling in Joe Biden for a rally in Arlington – an indigo blue city in Northern Virginia.
A Democrat needing to rally the base in Arlington on the eve of the election would be like a Democrat candidate for governor of California concerned about turnout in San Francisco.
The rally exposed the depths of the Democrats’ concerns.
Joe Biden passed on using his time to tout his own record – it would be a litany of failures anyway.
Biden also did not extoll the virtues of Terry McAuliffe and explain to Virginians how McAuliffe serving as governor would make their lives better.
Instead, Biden taunted Youngkin about Donald Trump not campaigning in the state even though Trump endorsed Youngkin.
“Terry’s opponent has made all his private pledges of loyalty to Donald Trump,” Biden exclaimed. “But what’s really interesting to me, he won’t stand next to Donald Trump now that the campaign’s on. Think about it. He won’t allow Donald Trump to campaign for him in this state. And he’s willing to pledge his loyalty to Trump in private, why not in public? What’s he trying to hide? Is there a problem with Trump being here? Is he embarrassed?”
This is not surprising.
McAuliffe is not running on any type of platform other than “Orange Man Bad.”
Enthusiasm for McAuliffe is at an all-time low in Virginia.
Biden’s presidency collapsed into failure and McAuliffe is a Democrat associated with the corporate wing of the party so base enthusiasm is at a low ebb.
Joe Biden – the sitting president – can’t even arouse his own rank-and-file to vote for him so Biden was reduced to heckler-in-chief trying to bait Donald Trump to show up in Virginia because Democrats’ only chance to mobilize their own base is the sight of President Trump.
