And Biden’s handlers and allies in the Democrat Party searched for any lifeline to turn the page on Afghanistan and lay claim to more favorable political terrain.
Now Joe Biden is about to celebrate this court win that will have Trump’s blood boiling.
Democrats and their allies in the corporate media seized on a Supreme Court ruling allowing a Texas law that bans abortion after six weeks by allowing civil lawsuits against abortion mills as a chance to change the subject from the failure in Afghanistan.
Liberals falsely claimed that abortion – which kills 1,000,000 babies per year – is “healthcare” and lied that the Supreme Court and Republicans want to deny women access to medical procedures.
Joe Biden scored a win in this fight when a Texas judge issued a ruling blocking the law from taking effect.

The Court finds that S.B. 8 creates a probable, irreparable, and imminent injury in the interim for which Plaintiffs and their physicians, staff, and patients throughout Texas have no adequate remedy at law if Plaintiffs, their physicians, and staff are subjected to private enforcement lawsuits against them under S.B. 8. Money damages are insufficient to undo the injury to Plaintiffs, their physicians, and staff if the Defendants are not enjoined from instituting private enforcement lawsuits against Plaintiff under SB8.
The order goes on to read, “The Court further finds that granting this request preserves the status quo preceding this controversy and follows precedent from the Supreme Court of Texas.”
Democrats are worried that the Texas ruling hints that the Supreme Court will uphold a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks.
That case is the biggest threat to Roe v. Wade in a generation.
The Supreme Court could either overturn Roe entirely or gut it with that case.
When Donald Trump campaigned for president in 2016, he explicitly stated he would appoint Supreme Court justices that would overturn Roe v. Wade.
In the final presidential debate Trump said of overturning Roe,“that will happen, automatically in my opinion,” because Trump promised to appoint pro-life justices.
Trump then nominated three justices to the Supreme Court to create a six to three Republican appointee majority that conservatives believe is the best chance to overturn the wrongly decided 1973 Roe v. Wade case.
Abortion on demand is the crown jewel of the left’s social policy agenda.
Democrats view any restriction on abortion as an existential threat to their movement.
The Texas ruling gave Democrats reason to cheer because it was a temporary victory in a fight the left has slowly been losing ground on as the years pass by.
